A Prayer for God's Light to Shine Through Us on Reformation Day | Your Daily Prayer

What does it look like to let your faith shine in a world that feels dark?
Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:16 to let our light shine before others so that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven.
In today's Your Daily Prayer, Lynette Kittle reflects on the childhood song “This Little Light of Mine,” the courage of Martin Luther during the Protestant Reformation, and the call for every Christian to live as a light in the world.
As we remember Reformation Day on October 31, we're reminded of the importance of Scripture, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the courage to live out what we believe.
You don't need a platform or a spotlight to make a difference. Through everyday acts of love, kindness, faithfulness, and truth, your life can point others toward Jesus.
Join us in praying for boldness, humility, and a faith that glorifies God.
