• Our Mission: Mt Hermon exists to Reach, Teach and Equip.
• Our Vision: Is to see the world changed and people to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Our Strategy: To be obedient to and fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by going into our community and the rest of the world making disciples.
• Our Focus: Is on shining our light for Christ (Matthew 5:16). We are called to be different than the world (1 Peter 2:9).
• Our Outreaches: Locally, we have ministries for all ages, Children’s Ministry, Youth Group, Young Adult, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry in order to love and teach the Word of God to others…we believe the Word of God is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

We are also involved in and support several local ministries and missions in other parts of the world.

• Our Values: A Relationship with Jesus is the most important and through Him, we love our fellow man. We value the Word of God, our church, and families.
• Our Services have contemporary worship music (we are a choir of many with an audience of One).  We have Biblical, relevant & practical preaching.
• The church was founded in 1786 and is either the oldest or second oldest Baptist church west of the Allegheny Mountains. The main part of the sanctuary was built in 1842 and has been well kept and updated and added on to over the years.
• Multi-generational involvement – We believe that every child of God is important to the proper function of the church. We need the passion, energy and excitement of youth, also, the wisdom and experience of the older folks. Ephesians 4:16 says, “from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
