About Pastor John Neyman and Rick Morocco
Dr John Dr. John E. Neyman, Jr., MA, Th.D., is the pastor-teacher of SonRise Community Church and founder of Renewed Life Christian Counseling Center. With more than 44 years of experience in pastoral ministry, biblical counseling, and behavioral work, he is committed to explaining Scripture carefully and applying God’s truth to everyday life. Dr. Neyman is the Founder and co-host of Desiring Truth, where he addresses biblical theology, Christian living, relationships, counseling concerns, and current events from a biblical worldview. His passion is changing hearts and changing lives through the transforming truth of God’s Word.
Rick Morocco is an elder at SonRise Community Church and a devoted student of God’s Word. He holds a certificate in broadcasting from the Columbia School of Broadcasting and brings both communication experience and a genuine love for Scripture to Desiring Truth. As co-host, Rick contributes thoughtful questions, practical insight, engaging conversation, and humor while helping listeners connect biblical truth with the realities of everyday life.
