One world-class athlete turned in a dazzling, show-stopping routine at the Olympics, skating to a song made famous by the late John Lennon.

The Olympics are intended to be a unifying event, bringing countries and the best athletes in the world together. While proudly representing their countries, those athletes compete against one another, hoping to take home a bronze, silver or even gold medal. 

Regardless of whether the athletes win a medal or not, the dedication and skill on display from those athletes during the Olympics are often awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping and beautiful displays of athleticism. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Yuna Kim, a South Korean figure skater, put on a brilliant routine as she skated to Avril Lavigne’s cover of John Lennon’s beloved classic “Imagine” during the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The young woman’s routine is the perfect balance of elegance, athleticism and beauty. The talented skater effortlessly glides about the ice, showing off her talent in a series of increasingly difficult maneuvers. 

Near the one-minute mark of the routine, she picks up a considerable amount of speed while moving backward, then launches herself into the air, pulling off a series of spins. She lands after completing the high-flying move perfectly. The spectators respond by giving her a well-deserved round of applause.

Then, near the 3-minute portion of the video, she completes another jump, with a series of spins, once again. Her landing, much like the first one, is flawless. 

Her moves are so mesmerizing and easily pulled off that she appears to be dancing for most of her routine. At the conclusion of her performance, the audience gives her a rousing round of applause. 

Yuna Kim’s routine may not have been the most difficult ice-skating routine of all time, but it was still breathtakingly beautiful and worked exceedingly well when matched with the John Lennon song.

One couple in love had to say “I do” at a random but memorable location.

Marriage is a beautiful ceremony where two people in love exchange vows, promising to stay together through the good and the bad times. Cherished and dearly held memories are often created during the wedding ceremony, the reception that typically follows and the honeymoon. 

But as one couple shows in a video posted on YouTube, memories can be created anywhere. They also show that the location where a couple says “I do” does not matter, but to whom those words are said that really counts. 

The short clip begins with the bride and groom dressed to the nines, ready to say their “I dos” as they head down the road. At first, it’s unclear where the happy couple is headed, but soon after the clip begins, the bride announces their destination.

“We’re going to the UPS Store!” she says.

Seconds after the bride’s statement, text on the screen explains why they were visiting the UPS Store. Viewers learn that at the courthouse where they were planning to wed, there is no notary. So, they improvised.

A UPS Store employee holds their newly signed marriage certificate up to the camera.

“Signed, sealed and delivered,” the woman states.

But like every good marriage ceremony, there must be food and a celebration afterward. The newlyweds did not forget to complete this step either. 

As the woman takes a bite of french fries, the text informs viewers that the bride and groom celebrated the special occasion with “some Burger King.”

While they may have encountered hardships and were forced to take some literal detours on their big day, they are both in good spirits. The bride states, “It’s a good story to tell our kids one day, right?”

The sweet clip proves that if you’ve found the right person, the location of the wedding ceremony does not matter.

Check out this Storyful Viral video by Will Claussen. In a few short moments, you’ll enjoy a tale filled with several critical elements. There is mystery and intrigue. There is heart and hugs.

We meet Henry (a.k.a. Hank) after he has dug up a bottle with a message in it. The bottle was “found” by his brother Will while they were out metal detecting, which is a favorite hobby of Henry’s. Captions at the top of the frame show the discussion between Will, Henry, and Will’s fiancé, Alyssa Johns, and captions at the bottom provide background.

Will (24) told Storyful that his 22-year-old brother has a form of high-functioning Down Syndrome. As Henry checks out the bottle, Alyssa asks off-camera where it came from and how the message got there. With a slight smile and an air of suspicion, Henry asks Will if he put the message in the bottle, but his older brother assures him that he did not. 

Will retrieves the note from the bottle as Henry holds the bottle in one gloved hand, his shovel in the other. Alyssa re-positions herself so she can capture the brothers from the front; she doesn’t want to miss the expressions she expects will come. 

Inside is a request that Will has planted in the bottle. With a little help from Will, Henry reads it. Phrases like “best bro” and “best friend” are included in the message that ends with an exciting ask. The letter petitions Henry to be Will’s best man! 

As Henry finishes reading, Will wears a big smile, and one spreads across Henry’s face as well. Henry exclaims, “What!” Will states the question again in full. Henry immediately drops his tool and the vessel that held the note and jumps into his brother’s arms, legs wrapped around his waist in complete excitement!

That is obviously a “yes” from Henry! 

Often, boyfriends work hard to execute the perfect marriage proposal. In this video, we see a man and his fiancé put in extra effort to invite a brother to stand up with them. They created a beautiful moment and a cherished memory!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave a young woman battling cancer the surprise of her life when he showed up unexpectedly and spent some time with her.

Life is truly an unfair experience at times. Seemingly out of nowhere, and for no reason at all, people can get sick. Seeing young children diagnosed with cancer or some other horrifying disease is always a punch to the gut. They want nothing more than to be kids, but life takes a nasty and unexplainable turn.

Dwayne Johnson in addition to being the biggest movie star on the planet is also a human being. He feels the same emotions and tugs on his heart as anyone else, especially when he sees a child diagnosed with cancer. That’s why The Rock decided to surprise 12-year-old Luna Perrone at a restaurant one evening.

In a video posted on YouTube, the “Jumanji” star walks out into the restaurant, holding Luna’s plate of food and playing the role of a waiter. Luna is rendered speechless by his appearance.

She eventually gets up from the table, and the Rock gives her a warm and loving embrace. The Rock eventually spent 30 minutes with Luna. 

But while this may have been their first meeting, it’s not the first time they have communicated.

In the clip, Dwayne points out that in 2021, he had made a video of support for the young woman after she was first diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, Luna, who is now 12, has been diagnosed with cancer for a third time.

Dwayne said that while he is “honored and grateful” that Luna is his biggest fan, he is actually her “biggest fan.”

But The Rock's unexpected arrival and the 30 minutes he spent with her weren’t the only surprises Luna received from the Hollywood A-lister. He also sent the young woman to Disneyland.

The Rock's beautiful and kind gesture is definitely greatly appreciated by a little girl in a tough fight.

One singer-songwriter, Olivia Lane Guyton, details how she went from an atheist to a believer after Jesus Christ was revealed to her in her living room.

Unfortunately, according to recent surveys and polls, the amount of people who do not believe in the existence of God is growing. For whatever reason, these people are convinced that God does not exist. But God does exist, is most certainly real, and desires a close, personal relationship with everyone.

At one point, Olivia Lane Guyton considered herself as an atheist. She had convinced herself that the God of the universe, who had created and formed her, was not real. But that is no longer the case.

In a video posted on Instagram, Olivia talks about her transformation from an atheist to a believer in Christ. 

She mentions that she would often wake up every morning and state that if God were actually real and did exist, He would find some way to show her. Olivia was looking for undisputed truth, evidence in support of the existence of God. 

While she may not have been a believer, she reached out, saying that if God was real, she was looking for Him to do something in her life. She wanted Him “to blow up her life” because “she needed it.”

On April 29, 2018, Olivia says she got proof of God’s existence. She was sitting in her living room reading a book, “Walking with God" by John Eldridge, that her therapist had recommended.

She said the book offered her a look at a personal relationship with the Lord. It was something that she had never seen or offered up until that point. 

While reading the book, particularly the sentence, “We are a world at war,” Tears began to stream down her face. She added that she also sensed a presence in the room and then that’s when she noticed something odd.

“And so, I looked up into the window, into this beautiful blue-sky day, and I saw a shadow silhouette of Jesus with his arms outstretched,” she said.

Hebrews 3:12 “My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart without belief, turning away from the living God.”

A police officer responded to a scene where a cat was abused and ended up adding the furry, four-legged animal to his family.

Animals, like humans, want to be somewhere where they will receive tender love and care. No one, animals included, wants to be abused or mistreated. Members of the furry, four-legged community are also a part of God’s creation. As such, they are deserving of humane treatment and kindness.

Thankfully, one officer came to the rescue of a cute, cuddly cat who was being mistreated. In a clip posted on YouTube, Officer Timothy Rigg explained how he came to be the owner of a cat even when he believed that would have never ever happened. 

Timothy said he responded to a call where a cat, Penny, had been thrown out of the window. Once on the scene, Timothy found the cat frightened and hiding under a couch.

However, the animal climbed up on his shoulder. It wasn’t too soon after that the officer realized Penny would be coming home with him for good.

“So, I’ve always been around animals, but I never thought I’d own a cat,” Timothy said. “But I instantly knew Penny and I were going to be together forever.”

Following the incident, the animal was scared to death, according to Timothy. The cat was shivering and shaking, unsure what to make of the situation. However, when the cat was on Timothy’s shoulder, she felt safe and secure, purring the entire time.

Even when Timothy tried to drop the cat off at the animal shelter, Penny refused to let go. She did everything she could to stay on Timothy’s shoulder. 

At that point, Timothy asked if he would be able to take Penny home with him. And now, after a three-week foster process, Timothy, his wife and Penny will officially become a family.

A man and a woman who have been married for more than 60 years remain deeply in love, still acting like a couple of newlyweds.

Marriage is a beautiful, life-long commitment between two people who love one another. But as everyone knows, relationships, especially marriage, require work and sacrifice. In a marriage, there are good days and bad days. No two people will agree on everything all the time, fights and disagreements will naturally occur.

However, when a couple can endure the bad days that will inevitably come, that love and bond between those two individuals will strengthen and grow. A video posted on TikTok shows two people who have been married for 62 years but still seem unable to stand to be apart from one another.

The short clip begins with an elderly woman sitting in the back of a vehicle who clicks around on a cell phone, holding it out the window. She then makes a request to the driver.

“I’m taking a picture of him, Troy,” she said. “Could you stop just a second?”

It’s unclear who exactly the woman is attempting to capture with her phone’s camera. 

The person filming the video then swings the camera around, and viewers see who the elderly woman is photographing. An older gentleman stands outside on a front porch. He smiles and waves at the love of his life.

She then yells out the window at the man on the front porch.

“Love you, bye,” she says. 

Text in the video makes it clear that this is two people still 100 percent in love, seemingly unable to remain apart even for a few days.

“Have you ever seen anything cuter than my mom saying goodbye to my dad before she leaves for the weekend?” the text reads.

What a tremendous example of love between two people that has only matured and deepened over the years. 

1 Corinthians 13:13 “But now we still have faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.”

Medical professionals held a graduation ceremony for an infant who spent more than 100 days in a hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Doctors, nurses and most people who work in the medical field are wonderful and caring people. They often work closely with families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. But they are also there to celebrate the biggest, most emotional and most memorable times.

A video posted on YouTube captured a special ceremony of a child leaving a hospital’s NICU. The child was even fitted with a cap and gown as the precious infant was “graduating,” leaving the unit after 104 days. The child was born early at 26 weeks and weighed only 2 pounds 3 ounces. 

The short video begins as the child, in a crib, is wheeled out into the hallway filled with smiling and emotional hospital personnel. As the crib reaches the middle of the room, a woman wearing a full cap and gown recalls the terrifying early moments of baby Lincoln’s life.

“When he was born, Lincoln was the sickest baby in our unit,” the woman states. “The first 24 hours were very tenuous. And I remember those first 24 hours very vividly as myself and the attending worked around the clock to try to stabilize him.”

Despite those scary first early moments of baby Lincoln’s life, the little guy is now leaving the NICU weighing nine pounds.

Praise God!

The woman in the video described how babies born early are some of the toughest members of society.

“NICU babies are true survivors,” she says. “They show us the power of faith and the fight of the human spirit. They are the embodiment of perseverance.”

This is one of the happiest, most moving and most powerful graduation ceremonies that you’ll ever witness. 

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before you were formed in the body of your mother, I had knowledge of you, and before your birth, I made you holy: I have given you the work of being a prophet to the nations.”

A young woman proved medical professionals who told her she would never walk very wrong. 

Life is often an unfair experience, handing out problems and issues to some of society's most vulnerable and innocent members. Yes, people, because of wrong choices and poor decisions, bring hardships upon themselves. But other times, that is not the case, where the recipient did nothing deserving of a horrible disease or debilitating condition.

A clip posted on YouTube shows a little girl who was born with cerebral palsy. The child, the video points out, was told that because of her condition, she would never be able to walk. However, she and her family refused to accept that assessment.

The video starts with the tiny child in a hospital bed, attached to several tubes. Seconds later, the video has progressed several years into the child’s life. The girl is now using a walker to stroll along a paved road.

Then, with braces on both legs, a woman, likely her mother, right behind her, the girl, walks down a hallway. The woman providing the little girl with support advises and cautions her to take things slowly.

The video shows the little girl achieving a milestone in her life. While standing on a purple floor mat, the girl prepares to complete her biggest jump ever. The girl, who stands by herself with braces on her legs, accomplishes the feat. Sophia’s mother immediately erupts with shrieks of joy and excitement.

Clips follow with the child making her way down a flight of stairs, riding a scooter and balancing and hopping on one leg. The woman, likely Sophia’s mother, also puts her through a series of exercises designed to develop and strengthen the child's legs. 

In the end, the child, who was told she would never walk, is spotted momentarily running on a treadmill. The inspirational and tear-jerking video ends with Sophia effortlessly climbing up a wall.

One cat valiantly fought for its life and narrowly escaped during a frightening confrontation with a coyote.

Life is a precious and fragile gift that must be handled with care and dignity. When someone is in a life-or-death situation, instinct will naturally kick in. People will do whatever it takes – run, hide or fight - to survive whenever their life is threatened. 

The same goes for members of the furry and four-legged community as well, as one video on YouTube perfectly displays. A cat fought and scrambled for its life when it came up against a coyote.

Movies and television shows portray cats and dogs as natural enemies. For one reason or another, cats and dogs may avoid each other, opting to spend their time in different ways. However, their interactions don’t often result in deadly fights for survival. 

But when a house cat encounters a much larger animal, like a coyote, it’s a much different story. The fight was caught on a home's surveillance camera. 

The short clip begins as the cat comes screaming around the corner with the coyote hot on its tail. The coyote even appears to try and take a bite of the cat’s tail. The cat, not willing to give up and surrender its life to the coyote, jumps and lunges at the animal’s neck. 

Luckily, for the much smaller cat, there is a lawn chair of some kind present on the porch. The feline uses the outdoor furniture to its advantage, hiding underneath the chair. The coyote has difficulty reaching the cat.

But the cat is not in the clear yet. Things get much worse before they get better for the frightened feline.

The cat begins climbing up the porch’s railings trying desperately to escape from the coyote, but it’s pulled back twice. 

Eventually, the cat manages to climb, getting away from the coyote threatening its life.

It is always entertaining to watch a good ice skating routine. Check out this silver medal performance from Meryl Davis and Charlie White to Michael Jackson hit.

As the pair is announced, they enter the ice rink, preparing for a stellar performance. The two are focused and begin their routine. They have intensity and poise as Charlie skates around Meryl. He lifts her effortlessly and spins her on the ice. 

The song, Billy Jean, is remixed to a slower version, and the two have such focus and chemistry. The moves that they compete with seem so smooth and easy, but these are incredibly high-level and challenging to learn. This is what makes their performance a medal-winning one.

Suddenly, the song begins to pick up, and their lifts begin to wow the crowd even more. They take us on a journey and show us how powerful their moves are as a team. They twirl in unison, move with grace, and have their own special flare. 

It is great to see their heart in every motion. They skate with passion. It takes so much trust to do these moves together, and the two of them have built a relationship as teammates. Individually they are wonderful skaters, but I would argue that together they are phenomenal. 

The two end with Meryl in a split, lifted above Charlie’s head, spinning around multiple times. It is powerful!

In Scripture, we see the concept multiple times of community. We all have different gifts to bring to the table that are meant to be used together. When we encourage each other, we build one another up, and the church body can be more effective for the kingdom of God. 

May their performance excite believers that we can be powerful together with the help of the Holy Spirit. 

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5

One little girl was determined not to miss her preschool graduation even when she experienced paralysis in her right arm.

Unfortunately, life is not a fair or easy experience. Sadly, some people receive a more difficult hand than others, even the most vulnerable and innocent members of society aren’t exempt from those harsh realities. Seeing children afflicted with debilitating diseases or conditions is always heartbreaking.

A video posted on TikTok shows a young lady, Estella, bravely fighting her way through her preschool graduation even though she was experiencing paralysis in her right arm.

She did not want to miss accepting her diploma.

Estella has Alternating hemiplegia of childhood (AHC), a rare neurological disorder. The National Institutes of Health describes the condition as causing “recurrent episodes of paralysis (hemiplegia) that involve one or both sides of the body, multiple limbs, or a single limb.”

The site also adds that these attacks of paralysis “may affect different parts of the body at different times and may be brief or last for several days.”

The individual who posted the video in the caption indicated that they did not expect the child to make it through the ceremony. However, the little girl was bound and determined to graduate with her class.

“I saw the determination on her face during that entire program,” the caption reads. “It was like she was willing her body just to hold on a little longer so she could have her moment.”

The caption’s writer also mentions how they reacted when someone who knows Estella’s story began clapping for her during the ceremony.

“I barely held it together,” the caption states. “It was such a small act of encouragement and support that I was so grateful for.”

What a brave young woman! Congratulations on your recent graduation, Estella! 

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.”

One country musician and his wife suffered a devastating tragedy with the loss of their 3-year-old son and have now found a way to deal with their pain and help others grieving.

Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. Children add so much joy and happiness to life. But for a parent, no pain is worse than losing a child. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to country singer Granger Smith and his wife, Amber.

Granger and Amber’s three-year-old son, River, fell into the family’s pool and drowned about five years ago. What a devastating loss that would have struck the heart of anyone with immense pain and sorrow. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Granger and Amber mentioned how they are using that experience and hurt into a mission to help others going through a dark valley.

Granger recently wrote a book about losing his son and compared life to a river. He mentioned that similar to a river life takes unexpected twists and turns. But what happens when that river meets a waterfall? he asked. 

“What happens when your happiness goes off a waterfall, and you can’t control the flow of your river?” Granger said. “What happens when you can’t choose happiness because you literally have no other choice in life? You’re at the rock bottom of your river. That’s what ended up happening to me in a place of total surrender. The only thing I could do was completely surrender.”

Granger added that writing a book about his late son and sharing his story, which he hopes will help others struggling and hurting, is a way for him to find healing. 

Granger also talked about how his faith grew and how he learned to surrender everything to God after River’s passing.

“It was a moment of realizing that there are things in life that you cannot control,” Granger said. “And if you surrender that, if you can completely surrender that and say, ‘God, take, take control. You have planned this. You have purposed this. I can’t affect this in any way.’ There is such peace and rest in handing that over.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”

One man went to great lengths, incorporating a duet to a medley of love songs, to surprise the woman he loves with a proposal.

Weddings are lovely ceremonies where two people promise to spend the rest of their lives together. The ceremony, reception and honeymoon are occasions where cherished, long-lasting memories are created. 

The proposal is another place, before exchanging vows and saying, “I do,” where memories are often generated. A video posted on YouTube shows the unique way one singer asked another, the love of his life, to marry him.

The video begins with one man explaining what is about to take place. Dani and Colton are singers with whom he has collaborated with several times. Dan and Colton, the video’s narrator explains, are also in love. After their performance, Colton will ask for Dani’s hand in marriage!

Accordingly, Dani and Colton sing a mashup of some of the most beloved and classic love songs. They start off their impressive performance and medley of hits with Bryan Adams’ “Heaven.” 

Next, Dani and Colton seamlessly transition into another classic tune, this one from the popular Disney film, “The Lion King,” Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Bruno Mars’ “Beautiful” also makes an appearance, with Colton showing off his impressive falsetto. 

Bryan Adams’ “Heaven” isn’t the only song from the 1980s that pops up in the 3-minute video. Dani and Colton belt out the lyrics of “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. No love song mashup would be complete without that timeless track!

But soon enough, the moment arrives when Colton gets down on one knee, taking Dani entirely by surprise.

“That took way longer than I thought,” Colton says as he takes a knee.

Dani is unsure of what to make of the situation. 

“Will you marry me?” Colton blurts out as he shows Dani the ring.

Dani answers in a less-than-expected way, not giving a definitive answer at first.

“Are you joking?” Dani says.

They are both a little confused as to what hand the engagement ring is supposed to go on as Dani finally answers with, “Of course.”

One young man took the extraordinary and caring step of carrying his teacher, who was confined to a wheelchair, during a class outing.

Teachers have a monumental impact on society. Educators touch the lives of young people every single day. They are literally teaching the next generation, molding and shaping the minds of tomorrow. What teachers say and do can have a massive impact on the world.

Educators are used to helping students, going out of their way to assist those in their classroom. In addition to their time, teachers often invest their own money into their classroom and their students by purchasing necessary learning materials. 

However, a video posted on social media shows that when a teacher was in need, a group of students came through when he needed assistance.

The short video on Instagram begins with a student literally carrying a teacher over his shoulder. The text, which rests at the top of the frame, reads, “POV: When your teacher’s wheelchair won’t roll through the sand.”

The caption included with the video indicates that the touching move was done so that the teacher and the students could remain together during a field trip.

“A heartwarming moment as students rally around their teacher and make sure that the team can stay together, no matter what!” the caption reads.

Other students stand near the student with the teacher, almost as if they are monitoring the situation in case the student has any trouble with the teacher.

The young man with the teacher on his shoulder then proceeds down the dirt-covered trail with relative ease.

It’s clear that those students appreciate and care for their teacher. When they saw an opportunity to return the favor and be a literal shoulder to lean on, they did not hesitate.

John 14:14 “If you make any request in my name, I will do it.”

One man exhibited extraordinary kindness when he surprised a woman with a new cell phone.

It would be hard for most people to function today without having a cell phone within a few inches of their outstretched hand. Cell phones keep us constantly connected to popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Sending a quick text to a friend or family member can be completed in seconds. Cell phones have essentially become an extension of most people’s hands. 

However, as a video posted on social media shows, cell phones may also be the only connection to help and the outside world for some. One man seemed to know and understand this when he showed great concern and kindness for an elderly woman with a broken cell phone.

The clip begins with the woman informing the man that she had left her phone two days ago. She would now like to pick up her phone, which she desperately hopes is repaired. 

Unfortunately, the man behind the counter tells her that her phone is broken beyond repair. After hearing this news, the woman begins to panic, unsure what she will do now.

“I can’t imagine,” she says. “I live alone, I have nobody. I have from time to time to call an ambulance or to a hospital.”

But things take an unexpected turn. The gentleman behind the counter has already come up with a solution to her problem. He places a brand-new phone on the counter, informing the woman it's hers. 

“I know, ma’am,” he says. “That’s why I can give this phone to you.”

The woman is shocked by the announcement. She states she doesn't have the money to pay for the new, expensive phone. But she does not have to pay, the man behind the counter has an answer for her.

“This phone is for you from good people,” he tells the woman.

But she wants to know who would do such a thing for her. Who would give her a brand-new phone, she asks. 

“Let me be this good person for you, OK?” the man behind the counter tells her.

She is overwhelmed by the act of kindness. She begins tearing up, wiping away the tears. 

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

Three sisters, separated when they were babies, managed to reconnect later in life and now live only minutes away from one another in Texas.

Life is an experience full of trying, often heartbreaking decisions. When it comes to making choices, one can only use the best information available to them at the time and then hope for a satisfactory outcome. 

A clip posted on YouTube explains how a couple in Colorado, more than 30 years ago, had to make one of those life-changing and heart-wrenching decisions. After Kathleen and Lee used a sperm donor and became pregnant with triplets, they were unable to care for all three children.

So, because of their financial situation and other personal challenges, the family put two of the girls up for adoption. The couple kept and raised Rikki Jump. However, Kendall and Julianne Scavo were adopted. Both were raised by a couple who lived only 40 miles from their sister, Rikki.

As the video states, Rikki grew up aware of Kendall and Julianne’s existence. But Kendall and Julianne had no idea they had another sister out there until one Christmas morning when their parents told them about Rikki. 

This Christmas Day revelation resulted in the three sisters getting to know one another, eventually becoming pen pals. At 11 years old, the three sisters met for the first time in a mall. In an appearance on The Today Show, the sisters described how that first in-person encounter felt. 

“A lot like a puzzle piece sliding into place,” Rikki said. “I had been a pretty sad kid up to that point, just because of the tragic loss of my father, so it was like the first reprieve I had from that in a long time.”

Now, after a series of unexpected events, the young women have been brought together once again. They all live in Austin, Texas, within minutes of one another.

The women added that they now see one another several times a week. Rikki, Julianne and Kendall have even started a podcast on which they share their unique story.

Actor Kirk Cameron mentioned how he refused to kiss an actress who wasn’t his wife on screen and the reaction he received because of his move.

The entertainment industry continually produces films that espouse views diametrically opposed to the Christian belief system. Hollywood is not known for being a friendly place to Christians and people of faith. In fact, some would argue that it’s very hostile to Christians and those who hold traditional views on things like marriage. 

In an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Kirk Cameron talked about making his faith-based film “Fireproof.” The former Growing Pains star went through the film’s plot and how the movie is centered around the relationship between a husband and wife. 

However, he also added how he ran into a bit of trouble when it came to filming one particular scene in the film, which involved him kissing an actress.

“I said, ‘you know what? This is something that I stood at an altar and said that I would only do with my wife,” Kirk said. “And call it make-believe or not, I know how this would make me feel if I saw my wife doing this.”

So, Kirk mentioned that they devised a clever workaround that did not result in him kissing someone other than his wife.

“And so we re-did things, flew my wife out,” Kirk said. “She put on a wig that matched the actress’s hair in the movie, and she wore that dress. We shot the scene in a silhouette so you couldn’t tell, but when I’m kissing my wife in the movie, I’m actually kissing my wife, Chelsea.”

Kirk stated that some people got upset about arranging for his wife to come out and act as his wife in the film during that pivotal kissing scene. Some people, Kirk said, “thought that was such an inconvenience to the production and an offense to them personally.”

Nevertheless, despite what some may have thought, Kirk held firm to the vows made when he and his wife said, “I do.”

“I don’t want to do anything that is going to potentially injure my marriage,” Kirk said. 

Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”

A group of athletically gifted women competing on the world stage captured a bronze medal with their stunning routine.

To be an athlete competing at the highest level possible requires massive amounts of determination and dedication. Athletes put in hours and hours of meticulous and intense practice working on their craft, going over and fine-tuning every detail. Most put their blood, sweat and tears into reaching their goal.

A clip posted on YouTube shows a group of female athletes reacting during the moment when all their hard work, dogged practice and extreme dedication paid off in a big way.

In the video, Team USA prepares to enter the pool during the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. The women are competing in the artistic swimming event.

As the commentators point out, there was a lot riding on this routine from the United States. Spain and Italy had already secured their medals. Whether the USA would qualify for a medal or not rested on their competency in their upcoming routine. 

However, before they enter the swimming pool, a memorable and classic song starts, Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal.” Once they enter the pool, the athletes come together in a big way, stunning one of the commentators right from the get-go.

In the opening seconds of the routine, the group of women lifts one member several feet up out of the pool.

“Such high risk,” one commentator states. “Incredible balance.”

From that point forward, the women, in complete synchronicity, pull off what is essentially a dance number while underwater. There is even a point when the women are upside down, with their feet and legs sticking out of the water. Their movements are timed perfectly. No one ever misses a step. 

After pulling off their intense and demanding routine, the women must sit and wait for a minute or two. But when their final scores are revealed, which results in a bronze medal, it is pure joy and happiness!

1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not see that in a running competition, all take part, but only one gets the reward? So let your minds be fixed on the reward.”

One man found a unique, moving and touching way to incorporate his girlfriend's late father in his wedding proposal.

Wedding ceremonies are usually brimming with emotion, with people shedding tears as they watch people vow to remain together through the good and the bad. However, the young man must pop the question before the bride can pick out her dress and walk down the aisle.

A video posted on TikTok shows when a man asked his significant other if she wanted to get hitched. The man used an audio recording of the to-be bride’s late father as part of the proposal.

The clip begins with the man and woman sitting on a porch looking at a television. Seconds into the video, the audio recording of the woman’s father, who had just died a few days prior, begins playing on the TV.

“Son, you’ve got my permission, as much as I can give it to you in the short time I have left on this earth,” the man said. “I know you love Emily, and I know you’ll take care of her. God bless you, and you have my blessing, son.”

About halfway through the recording, the young man gets down on one knee as his soon-to-be-fiancée, who has been moved to tears, watches the clip. She turns and comes face-to-face with the young man ready to ask the question.

In a low, calm tone, the man tells her he knew how much it meant to her for him to get her father’s permission. He asks and she is overwhelmed, unable to speak, only able to get out “Yes, yes.” 

After the initial shock subsides, the young woman wants to know, “How’d you get that?”

What a sweet and touching move on that young man’s part. May those two have all the happiness in the world.
