Made to Love You Lyrics - The Deplorable Choir

Blake Shelton Pulls 6-Year-Old Awaiting Heart Transplant On Stage For The Sweetest Duet

Imagine being a little boy and meeting your favorite singer. In this precious video, Blake Shelton pulls a six-year-old awaiting heart transplant on stage for the sweetest duet in Blake Shelton history!

Wyatt McKee has been a big fan of Blake for quite a while. But Wyatt doesn’t always get to do fun things. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. It’s a condition where the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. This makes it hard for Wyatt to do normal boy things like wrestling with friends, running around the backyard, or even playing Tee-Ball.

But the one thing Wyatt can do is listen to music. He absolutely loves all of Blake’s songs, but his favorite is ‘God’s Country.’ It speaks to the wildness in this little boy's heart.

So, when Wyatt got to see Blake in concert, his mom helped make a sign in hopes that maybe his prayer to sing with Blake would come true. His sign was pretty cute, no wonder it caught Blake’s attention. It said, “Your smallest, biggest fan from Lake Texoma, 6 years old waiting on a heart transplant.”

The sign caught Blake’s eye and he invited Wyatt up on stage. Blake got down on one knee, so they were face to face and then asked Wyatt his name and he shyly responded before tucking his hands into the pockets of his jeans. Then, Wyatt’s prayer comes true, but as you can see in this video, he was shy and a little star-struck. But after a few chords, the pair launch into the song before Wyatt returns to his seat.

Wyatt’s mom Harley snapped a few photos and also captured the pair on video. Later, with gratitude, she posted the video online in hopes that she could get her message to Blake to thank him for his kindness.

She wrote, “I don’t know if Blake Shelton will ever see this but I just want to let him know he is awesome and officially my favorite person he absolutely made Wyatt’s day thank you so much to him and everyone who stopped us to tell him how great he was on stage and told him they are praying for him!!! Definitely, a night to remember!!!”

This short but sweet video will remind you of how even small acts can be the greatest forms of kindness and blessings when we do something kind for others.

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17

'A Thousand Years' Performance From Celtic Thunder's Michael O’Dwyer

Check out this wonderful performance from Celtic Thunder's Michael O’Dwyer of the song 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri.

“One step closer, I have died every day waiting for you, darling don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more”

What a beautiful performance showcasing Michael O’Dwyer incredible voice!

In the video, there is a harpist, violinist, drummer, and a few guitarists playing on stage with Michael, and they all sound so amazing making music together. And there are lights shining all over the stage to create a starry night scene. The whole thing is very beautiful and lovely to look at and listen to.

The performance is from a Celtic Thunder concert that was filmed live in Dublin from 2017. And in the video, you can see how enthralled the audience is with the performance by Michael O’Dwyer and the other musicians on stage. The same can be said for people who have watched the video online!

34 Angelic Voices Sing 'Blessed Is The Lord'

It is always impressive to see how a choir of young people come together to worship God through song. In this video, 34 angelic voices sing “Blessed is the Lord.”

Little singers of an Armenian choir are standing confidently in precious outfits with tights. They are standing tall in front of a beautiful organ as their choir director, Tigran Hekekyan stands conducting their musical piece.

The group sings this piece a cappella. There is such purity and integrity in their voices. The camera focuses on the conductor and we see that he is passionate and clearly signals his students well.

There are special moments of students smiling with joy as they share their gift of singing. As these teenagers sing out “Blessed is the Lord,” there is a sense of their joy and gratitude while they sing in unison with their voices.

Tigran directs them with such precision and focus. He signals and provides direction with clarity and confidence. It is obvious that these students are taking after their conductor in the way that they all present with such conviction.

The choir knows when to sing with every crescendo and decrescendo. They do a stunning job working together and following their director.

The concept of following their conductor reminds me of the importance of following our “Conductor,” God. As we look to Him in our lives, it is vital that just like these young people never took their eyes off of their conductor, we also fix our eyes on Jesus.

With the help and passion of our example in Christ, we too can model Him with the presentation of our lives.

“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Dance Team Overcomes Adversity to Wow Judges with Audition

Take a minute to be wowed by a young woman’s bravery and community through a devastating trial. In this video, a dance team overcomes adversity to wow judges with their audition.

At the start of this video, there is a group of girls wearing t-shirts that say hope, strength, and peace. The oldest of the group, the choreographer, introduces Holly who is in a wheelchair.

This young girl was in the Manchester bombing at a concert. In an interview, Holly’s mom shares that she gifted her daughter with tickets to the concert. She, Holly, and Holly’s aunt went to the event.

Unfortunately, Holly’s aunt passed away in the explosion of a bomb, and Holly was injured. Holly has been through so much with nerve damage in her left leg and she has had eleven operations.

Sweet Holly wanted to go back to dancing, but her doctors did not know when or if that would ever be possible for her. The team created a routine to make her dream come true.

One judge asks how it feels to be back in Manchester and Holly tears up and responds that this is the first time she has been in a large room similar to an arena. As the girls dance, Holly is front and center dancing from her wheelchair.

Each move of the other dancers has a complimentary movement for Holly to do. Every girl has a wheelchair that they use during the performance. The judges tear up and smile during the audition and end with a standing ovation.

This audition is unlike anything I have ever seen, it is such an inspiration. Just like Holly conquered her fears and succeeded, we too are more than conquerors in Christ. He is our hope.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

Check out this sweet video of a talented 11-year-old singing ‘Unchained Melody’ and dedicating the song to her grandparents.

“Woah, my love, my darling, I've hungered for your touch a long, lonely time
And time goes by so slowly and time can do so much
Are you still mine? I need your love, I need your love
God speed your love to me”

What a beautiful cover of this lovely song. ‘Unchained Melody’ was originally released by The Righteous Brothers in 1965. And the talented girl performing her own rendition of the song in this video is Cassandra Star Armstrong.

Cassandra wanted to sing this song especially for her Nana and Papa, because it has always been a favorite of theirs. But many people online are glad that Cassandra shared her music video with others, because her voice is just wonderful to listen to!

“Gosh! It's hard to believe that this girl is only eleven with an incredible voice like that! I look forward to more,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“What a gorgeous version of this classic. So well done Cassandra. The entire set is beautiful, and you look absolutely lovely. May God continue to richly bless you,” writes another person online.

Cassandra has always loved to sing, and one of her dreams is to be a performer.

“I’ve honestly never thought of anything else,” Cassandra said. “I’ve always been singing and humming and dancing and I love to make people happy.”

From the time she began to talk, Cassandra would always be seen singing around the house.

“I always used to dance and perform little made up skits for my family,” Cassandra shared. “I’d always just kind of have fun with it and use my imagination.”

It is clear that this talented girl was born to perform! We hope that you enjoyed seeing her rendition of ‘Unchained Melody’ today!

The O'Donnell's Family Band's Gospel Bluegrass Audition of 'Edge of Glory'

You don’t want to miss this gospel bluegrass audition of the song ‘Edge of Glory’ performed by The O’Donnell family band on The Voice!

The pop song ‘Edge of Glory’ is by Lady Gaga, but The O’Donnells put their own unique spin on it. And their rendition is one that definitely caught the judges’ attention!

But it was not just their unique audition and wonderful music that stood out. The littlest family band member, 3-year-old Amy, also gained a lot of attention. The audience couldn’t stop gushing over her when she came out on stage at the beginning of the performance.

The other judges on The Voice were unable to turn their chairs around for the audition because their teams were already full. Except for Judge Keith Urban!

Keith eventually pushed his button for the singing group and got The O’Donnell family band on his team!

“First thing is, you have turned a Lady Gaga song into a gospel/bluegrass number, which is going to turn any chair to begin with,” he shared with the family.

Then he told The O’Donnells that little Amy is the youngest performer on any Voice stage in the world, ever!

Many people online shared their thoughts about this family band’s audition and how wonderful they thought it was.

“This family was absolutely astounding! Beautiful people, stunning vocals, amazing harmonies, ridiculously good instrument playing and of course the absolute cuteness factor of the youngsters helps as well! And to top it off, they have the perfect coach!” comments one person on YouTube.

“Wow, this family has it all going on,” another person writes after watching the video. “So happy Keith turned for them.”

We hope you enjoyed this upbeat and fun version of ‘Edge of Glory’ with a gospel/bluegrass twist by The O’Donnells and it was able to bring a smile to your face today!

You were content to let me shine, that's your way, you always walked a step behind
So I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength"

What an incredible cover of this iconic song! And the beautiful girl with the wonderful voice in this video is Lucy Thomas. Lucy is a 17-year-old who lives in England, and she was a Semi-Finalist on The Voice Kids in 2018.

I can fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings”
