This video is absolutely encouraging in our faith. Teens help a homeless man buy food and they end up praying together. In this video, a group of teenagers is giving back. They are seen paying for a man’s groceries. Then, they share how they went out into their community to help the homeless. They gave out food, gift cards, and words of encouragement. Then, suddenly a security guard connected the boys with a man named Bryce who just got out of rehab. The teens took him to get groceries, I.D., and housing. When they were leaving, Bryce asked the teens if they believed in God. First, we see Bryce shopping with the boys and putting things he enjoys eating into his cart. Then, they go to buy homes essentials and medical needs. After they purchase what the man needs, they all head out of the store and run into their security guard friend Carlos. Carlos proceeds to be vulnerable and tells Bryce that he recovered from addiction and it was possible for Bryce too. Carlos tells him to turn the need over to God and it will fill the void. Bryce asks, “Why did you come to help me?” The teen responds, “Literally, all God.” The teens invite Bryce to be prayed for and the group huddles to pray. The teen prays a powerful and faith-filled prayer. It is amazing to see how a loving community of Christ-followers can impact others. How are you reaching out and praying for others today? “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16

In an act of kindness, country star Vince Gill gifts new instruments to band students after a devastating flood. Waverly, Tennessee had over 17 inches of rain in 8 hours over the summer, and the floods caused devastating damage all over the community. Homes, businesses, and schools were destroyed, and it is taking a while for all the destruction to be repaired. One man wanted to help lift the spirits of the community, and that person was country music star Vince Gill! “You just sit there and shake your head,” said Vince Gill. “What can we do to help out?” Since replacing band instruments at the junior and senior high school had a low priority after all the destruction that the floods left behind, Vince knew that he wanted to help out in that way. He was able to donate 40 boxed up shiny and new band instruments to the school, and all of the band students were extremely grateful! During a time when these students are sleeping in borrowed beds and living in temporary places after their homes were destroyed, having these new instruments to play really encouraged them during this difficult time. The students learned about Vince Gill’s donation at a school assembly, and they were able to use the new instruments and play for the school. “How delightful! A blessing from Vince Gill!” comments one person on YouTube after hearing about the story. “We need more musicians, celebrities, and companies to be this kind all of the time!” “Wow! What a gift!! We need more great Americans like Vince,” writes another person online. Vince goes on to talk about kindness and how important it is to show to others. “I often feel like we should be like this all the time, you know. That’s my dream,” he shares. “Let’s not just be kind when somebody’s struggling, let’s just be kind.” God bless Vince Gill and his generosity to these music students!

These neighbors are heroes because of their quick thinking in a dramatic home fire rescue. This video isn’t for the faint of heart as it captured footage of two brave neighbors carrying an elderly woman from her burning home. And the voice you can hear on the video--that’s Lariana Garvis who organized the rescue. She was on her way home from an outing at the park with her two sons in the car. As she turned down her street, she immediately saw that the home of one of her neighbors was on fire. Lariana knew the elderly woman in late 90’s, and frail. She saw the size of the fire and knew there was no way her neighbor could get out on her own. As the house began to go up in flames Lariana called for help and then flagged down other neighbors by the name of Jay and Tom Kehoe. The men broke down the door as Lariana captured the dramatic rescue on video. Seconds later, Jay and Tom carried out the woman who was still in her favorite teal chair. The men chose to use the chair as a stretcher to prevent the elderly woman from any more injuries or bruising. The video captures broken windows that exploded from the heat of the fire and smoke billowing into the sky. The homeowner’s off-white sweater was singed from flames that had crept into the living room. As she was being carried out, Lariana, Jay, and Tom reassured her they would go back and get her precious dog who had been left behind. Thank God for these three good samaritans who were in the right place at the right time. They saved not one, but two lives. These neighbors were definitely God’s angels! They were willing to lay down their lives for someone who wasn’t able to save herself. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends,” John 15:13

Watch this proud dog as he happily helps bring the family’s groceries inside. What a good, helpful boy! You’ve probably seen a bunch of clever dogs doing some pretty unique tricks across the internet like grabbing a drink for their owners or opening a door. You might’ve even seen a dog help bring shopping bags in from the car like this pup. But apparently, this pup wasn’t trained to do this! Although Guster the lab is clearly an intelligent pup, his family hadn’t specifically trained him to help with the groceries. His mom said, “My daughter was helping me carry in groceries from the car at our home. Guster tried grabbing a sack out of her hands, so she placed a sack in his mouth and told him to take it to Mommy.” And Guster knew exactly what to do. It seemed like a fun little game for him! He obviously knew he was pleasing his humans and being the best boy. Just look at his waddle with his front legs walking farther apart than usual to make room for the bags. I think it’s also super important to notice that happy wagging tail! He’s so adorable — I almost can’t bear to watch his little puppy prances! Guster’s mom said he was more than happy to do it again and again. What a perfect way to make such a mundane task more enjoyable for everyone! What’s funnier is Guster’s furry sibling just overseeing his work. It’s more like Guster is being supervised rather than the other dog just not understanding what’s going on. Either way, he couldn’t care less! Just a happy boy lending a helping hand! I hope the family gave him the biggest treat and plenty of scratches — he deserves all of that and more for all of his hard work!

All it takes is one person to give you a shot. Jenna Bush Hager cries while thanking Holda for her big break. The one person who changed the course of Jenna’s career is Hoda. When Jenna made this statement, both ladies were reaching for tissues. You see, it’s not easy chasing your dream job. The pair were inspired after sharing a story they learned about from a recent viral LinkedIn post from Sophia Cheong who navigated 357 rejections and 40 interviews before landing a job. “I remember when I was looking for my very, very, very, very first job and I thought … I kind of thought I was going to get a job right away,” Hoda said, “And I remember the first time I got rejected to my face, I was so surprised because I had a tape and I went to college, and here’s my stuff. He’s like, ‘Well, you’re too green.’” She recalled how hard it was being rejected over and over those first few months after graduating. “It just kept going and going and going and going and going, and I kept going and getting the rejection,” she said. “There is a point when you get so many that your whole self-esteem just goes down the toilet. You start thinking, I made a mistake. Because all these people can’t be wrong.” But you just need one person to give you a chance and for Hoda it was a man by the name of Stan Sandroni in Mississippi. Stan believed in Hoda and helped launch her journalism career. “You just need one person to say you can do it, and my one guy’s name was Stan Sandroni, and he was in Greenville, Mississippi. He hired me when no one else would,” Hoda said. “This guy believed, and that’s so shocking because it was like, you just need the one.” At that moment, Jenna began to tear up because the one person who gave her a chance was sitting right next to her. That one special person was Hoda. “Do you know who my one would be?” she said to Hoda. “You.” Jenna added, “You asked me to fill in with you and I'll never forget it, so my one is you.” The pair were silent for just a moment as they fought back tears. It was a touching moment for the both of them. It just proves we may receive hundreds of negative answers but all it takes is one person to say yes! What an incredible way to honor, support, and lift each other up. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

It never gets old watching others display kindness in this world. In this video, a stranger gives a struggling dog a wagon after the pup’s legs give out during a walk. A man in the neighborhood was walking an elderly dog who was struggling. A kind couple living nearby saw and had compassion on the dog and the husband walked over with a wagon to offer the owner. We see the owner pick up the dog and place him in the wagon. The dog then lays down in the wagon happily. The man pets and loves on his sweet dog. Then the two men shake hands and go on their way chatting and getting to know one another. Many people are watching this clip of the neighborly attitude. How can we keep an eye out for our neighbors today? How can we show sacrificial love today? Jesus set the example of giving to others and not expecting anything in return. Just like this man gave up his wagon, we need to remember that people are more valuable than things. Is there a way that you can bless someone with your resources or finances today? Who is around that you need to take notice of in the place that you live? Take some time to slow down and notice the needs of others today. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you be sensitive to the needs around you. God is working every day in the big and small moments. “And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. You have heard that it is said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:40-43

If you are looking for a video of peaceful scenery and natural talent, look no further. In this clip, the Riverside Bluegrass Band performs “Ole Montana” in a pasture. The five performers are standing together in front of hay bales and the beautiful mountains on a sunny day. It feels as if you are right there with them. The male and female sing in harmony and blend so perfectly. The camera gives moments highlighting each instrument. We hear and see guitar, violin, mandolin, bass, and a fiddle. Riverside Bluegrass Band was started by a group of friends from California and Texas. These incredible young people inspire us to slow down and enjoy the nature around us and all of the beauty that God has created. Their music and setting welcome us into the awe and wonder of the creation made by the Lord. The state of Montana is absolutely breathtaking and this music video will get anyone excited about the gift of nature around them. The Bible tells us clearly that the work of the Lord through creation reveals the invisible qualities of His power and holiness. We clearly see the working of the Creator when we look at the immaculate mountains, waterfalls, oceans, skies, plants, animals, and everything around us pointing to the Higher One. When was the last time you appreciated the setting God has provided around where you live? It may not be Montana, but God’s handiwork is everywhere, we just need to slow down and take time to notice Him. “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20

In this epic viral video, watch a young man in a heroic act. A hiker saves a freezing kitten stranded after a snow storm. In the clip, we see a precious gray and white kitten meowing. The hiker shares that he was about 10 kilometers in and heard the cat. He asks the cat what her name is and tells her that she is cute. This hiker does a 60-kilometer hike to help raise money for “Movember.” This fundraiser provides money for cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. The hiker shares that his friend was diagnosed with colon cancer and his grandpa passed away from cancer recently. After checking with various farms, the hiker finds the family who lost the cat. The family has two daughters and one son. One of the daughters was so upset when the other cat never returned home that the parents purchased a new kitten. Max, the hiker, was given the kitten that he rescued. Max did a poll and Hytch is the name for his kitten. This story of selflessness and rescue reminds us of how just like this kitten was stranded in the snow, we were once stranded in our sin. Jesus came to us and rescued us from eternal death. As we see the great love that the hiker Max has for this cat, it can remind us of the abundant sacrificial love that our God has for us as well. “But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:17-18

The group CAIN is made up of siblings Taylor, Madison, and Logan Cain, and they are from Alabama. They grew up as preacher’s kids and shared a room where they would spend most of their time singing and creating harmonies together.
