A mother shared a sweet yet heartbreaking encounter with a stranger while shopping. The woman gets emotional while recalling the unexpected moment while at the store. As every parent knows and understands, children do not stay little for long. One minute, they are newborns, dependent on their parents for everything. Sadly, if you blink again, they are packing up their vehicles and backing out of your driveway to start a life of their own. You stand waving, trying to keep a brave face, but inside, you are a wreck, desperately wishing they were still toddlers getting into everything in your house.

In a clip posted on social media, a mother shopping with her children and husband is made aware of how quickly children grow up by a stranger in the store.

“This lady came up to us the other day in Costco, while we were shopping, and she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, your kids are so cute! How old are they? What are their names?’ she said. “And she was telling us how she had kids really close together, too.”

Throughout the encounter, the mother said she noticed the other woman staring at her children with a sad look. The woman then made a statement that every parent with grown children has likely thought or said before.

“But she said to us, she was like, ‘I’d give anything to go back to that for a day,’” she said. “And I didn’t know what to say; I got so sad.”

But then, as the woman was walking away from the couple and their children, she turned away one more time to look at the children and started crying.

Children are not small for long. Once those moments pass, their childhood is over; they are gone forever.

Those ceremonies are very emotional and full of traditions. Anyone who has ever been to a wedding has a good idea of the flow and how things will go, for the most part. They know to stand as the bride makes her grand entrance, when to applaud after the officiant announces the couple as husband and wife and to wait to be escorted out of the sanctuary by one of the ushers.

In a clip posted on social media, a couple significantly changed their wedding service. Instead of a cute little girl fulfilling the role of the flower girl, the groom’s grandparents did that job.

The video captures the elderly couple making their way down the aisle while tossing flower petals on the ground. As soon as they begin throwing out the petals, the groom becomes emotional. He is unable to keep the tears from flowing. Several times in the short video, the young man has to wipe tears from his eyes.

When the grandparents reach the altar, they greet the groom with a loving hug and kisses on the cheeks.  

What a beautiful and sweet idea! Including the grandparents undoubtedly meant a lot to them and the groom and likely brought many others to tears at the wedding.

A woman’s hilarious mishap right before a proposal creates an unforgettable moment. She took one wrong step right before she took an even more significant step. Proposals can and often do require a lot of planning and preparation. Proposing marriage to someone is a huge, massive moment for every couple. How the big question is popped is a story that couples want to be able to tell their children and grandchildren for years to come.

Knowing how much is riding on this special moment, it’s essential to consider and think about every possible scenario and outcome. However, as much as the young man may plan and prepare for the big moment, it’s impossible to plan for everything. Life is unpredictable, and that is what happened to one couple who was about to get engaged.

In the short video posted on social media, a young man leads his girlfriend down a steep hill. They are literally seconds away from being engaged. However, as they make their way down the hill, disaster strikes. The young woman takes a tumble and falls to the ground.

Instead of letting her slip ruin the moment, the woman and the young man are good-natured about it and enjoy a good laugh. At one point during the clip, a dog enters the frame and walks over to the woman, checking to see if she is OK.

Eventually, as the couple continues to laugh about the situation, they make their way to the patio, which the young man has decorated for the big moment. She is dumbfounded by what she sees, with her mouth hanging open.

Her unfortunate slip and fall will only help to make their beautiful engagement story even more special.

One woman shared the heartfelt wisdom and advice she’s received since becoming a parent. Some of the advice she has gotten is unconventional but still incredibly sweet and heartwarming. Watch the short video to see what she has received and what she is now passing along to others with children.

Being a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. Children add so much joy and happiness to every household and make life infinitely better in every way imaginable. However, parenting is not always easy. Most good things in life require much work, effort and time, and parenting is no exception. 

There will be times as a parent when the best action or path forward isn’t clear. How should we respond to this or that situation? There will also be times when parents make mistakes. It happens; parents are still humans, and having children doesn’t change that.

However, in a clip posted on social media, a woman shares some advice she’s received since becoming a parent. The advice concerns sweet and unique ways to respond to situations most parents encounter regularly.

One piece of advice shared in the video involves how parents talk about their children in front of others.

“Call them brave, gentle, kind, caring, etc in front of others,” the text reads. “It will become their inner voice.”

Also, the video suggested having an “argument” with your spouse over one specific issue in front of your youngster.

“’Argue’ with your spouse about who gets to put them to bed or hold their hand,” the text reads. “It makes them feel so special.”

Also, the video informs parents to “never be the first to let go of a hug.”

As every parent knows, children are only little for a short period. Blink your eyes, and your youngster is packed up and backing out of your driveway to start their own life. These pieces of advice will help create special memories with your child.

An elderly man joins his neighbors for movie nights to help ease and ward off loneliness. The couple helps their neighbor feel less alone, and they do so by inviting him over to watch movies together. Human beings are not made to be islands of themselves. We aren’t designed to experience life by ourselves. We’re made for relationships. Some of the Bible’s first passages highlight this truth about humanity. In the Garden of Eden, God gave Adam a mate, a companion, Eve, to help him and help him feel less alone.

Life is meant to be shared and experienced with others. Unfortunately, many people experience loneliness regularly. Feeling alone and as if no one cares is, without a doubt, one of the worst feelings in the world.

Sadly, older people are a group of people who likely experience loneliness at a higher rate than anyone else. Their advanced age and, often, their immobility and inability to get out regularly, confining them to their homes, are huge contributing factors to their loneliness.

In a clip posted on social media, Delmar, an older gentleman, has found a unique and sweet way to defeat loneliness. The text in the video states that Delmar lives alone with his dog. This could easily make for a lonely existence, but Delmar and his neighbor’s shared love of movies keeps him from feeling this way.

“He lives alone with his dog so he comes over to watch movies with us when he feels alone,” the text states.

After the film ends, the text adds Delmar has the sweetest and most heartwarming response to his movie get-togethers with his neighbors.

“That was my favorite part of the day,” he says.

What a simple but significant and impactful act of love and kindness. Watching movies, or just giving someone something to look forward to, can mean so much to an individual feeling alone.

Wynonna Judd’s heartfelt words of encouragement and love brought Jenna Bush Hager to tears. What the legendary singer said caused her co-host to react emotionally on-air, creating an unexpectedly beautiful moment. Words are powerful and can cause people to react and respond in various ways. What people say to one another can and do build others up and encourage and uplift them when they need it most. One positive, encouraging message could greatly impact someone’s entire life, forever changing the trajectory of their life. It happens more often than we think. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Wynonna shared a message of encouragement and love with Jenna during a “Jenna & Friends” segment. Jenna and Wynonna were talking about the January tragedy in which a military helicopter struck a commercial plane in Washington, D.C., killing everyone involved.

Wynonna mentioned how short and precious life is and how it can be extinguished without a moment’s notice. Jenna responded that given the tragedies and darkness that permeate the world, she is happy that with her show and platform, she is able to bring some happiness and light to the world every day. That’s when Wynonna shared sweet words of encouragement for her co-host.

“I was going to tell you this, last night I didn’t sleep at all because I just have you on my heart,” Wynonna said to Jenna. “I watch you every day, and I went on my own in 1992, solo, and I think about you so much. And you’re a mom and a wife, and I don’t know how you’re doing this, but I just want to affirm you and say being authentic is lonely. And I can imagine that you feel that way sometimes, but I just love you, and I appreciate you, and I admire you so much.”

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace. To those who give ear.”

A dad’s beautiful words and surprise graduation gift brought his son to tears. The beautiful, heartwarming father-son moment is enough to bring most people, even the most stoic, to tears. Graduations from high school or college are moments and cause for celebration. They are massive educational accomplishments and significant milestones in life that ought to and deserve to be recognized. Those ceremonies are the culmination of a lot of study, hard work, persistence and determination.

Additionally, graduations are typically emotional events. Friends and family will often share how they feel about the graduate. In a clip posted on YouTube, a father used the occasion to tell his son how big of a blessing he is to him and how much he loves and cares for him.

“Don’t ever think I ain’t got you, man,” the proud father tells his son. “You’ve been blessing me all your life. Don’t ever think I ain’t got you. You’ve been a blessing to me and Mama all your life. And I’m going to go all out for you.”

At this point, the young man, touched by his father’s lovely words, has tears streaming down his face.

But that wasn’t all. 

As the family walks together in a parking lot, likely leaving the graduation ceremony, the father has a big surprise for his son. A set of keys is unexpectedly placed in the young man’s hands. He has just been given a brand-new car!

The young man is left speechless, overwhelmed by all the love and appreciation his father is showing him.

The father’s sweet words for his son continue.

“You’re a blessing to me, man,” Dad says to the young man. “You’re a blessing to me, man.”

The clip ends with the young man and his father sharing a warm and loving embrace.

How could you ever watch this moment and not have tears welling up in your eyes?

One man fulfilled a promise he made to his late mother by returning to college and earning a degree at 60 years old. He knew returning to school was something that he wanted and needed to do. Watch the short but sweet video of how one man earning a college degree fulfilled a promise to his mother.

A mother’s love for her child is one of Earth's purest, most beautiful forms of love. There is simply nothing most mothers would not do or sacrifice for the betterment of their children. And because mothers typically have such a strong, never-ending love for their children, those children often reciprocate it. Most children would do anything for their mothers, even if it meant returning to college decades later to earn that degree.

That’s precisely what one man, Allen Brooks, did at 60. In a video posted on YouTube, Allen explains that back in 1982, he initially attended Alabama A&M on a band scholarship. However, Allen admits that his only commitment was to band, and he did not perform well in the classroom, so he left school and got a job.

For years and years after leaving school, Allen’s mother, Sarah Pearl Brooks, made it clear that she wished he would return to school and get that college diploma. In response, Allen told her that he would do that for her one day. In 2020, that one day arrived as Allen returned to Alabama A&M.

Sadly, Allen’s mother passed away in June 2024. Despite losing his mother, Allen pressed on and graduated only months after her passing in December 2024.

“I switched gears and said, ‘Mom is still with me. There’s no way I’m going to stop,’” he said.

But Allen wasn’t the only member of his family involved in the graduation ceremony. His son, a freshman at Alabama A&M, played the tuba as people walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.

Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long on the land which the Lord your God gives you.”

A woman’s tearful reaction to a puppy surprise will melt your heart. There she stands in the driveway, the afternoon light clouded by the sun as it wraps itself around her for this tender moment. It’s as if the ordinary knows the extraordinary that’s about to happen in a moment. Her husband had just pulled up to the house and announced he had a surprise for her. 

She strolls over, nearly going to her knees in anticipation as he opens the car door to reveal a tiny little puppy nestled in his lap. But then, she sees it. Him. A tiny, fur-covered miracle perched on her husband’s lap. A puppy. A beautiful, bright-eyed bundle of joy with soft fur, the kind that makes your hands ache to hold it, named Bob Jr.

And oh, you can see it. The way her breath catches in her chest is a moment of love rushing out of her heart. Her hand rises to her mouth, tears spilling before she can even think to wipe them away. She reaches out slowly, reverently like she’s touching something timidly with love. And then, as if the weight of joy is too much to bear, she falls to her knees in the driveway, and she pets her new bundle of joy, a scratch on its soft ears.

Dogs, they say, are a woman’s best friend. And maybe it’s because they carry a kind of unconditional love that mirrors the love of God—always present, always wagging, always ready to offer comfort in a messy, broken world. Maybe it’s because they never ask for words; they just offer their presence. A dog like Bob Jr. doesn’t just fill a home—he fills a heart.

In her tears and laughter, you see it plain as day: love doesn’t wait for introductions or explanations. Sometimes, love simply arrives, paws first, and reminds us that joy often comes in the smallest, furriest packages.

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

It’s the kind of moment that makes time stand still and the heart overflow with love–a young woman jumps for joy at the visit from her grandparents. She steps out of her dad’s car, expecting the same rhythm as any ordinary day. But as she glances towards the porch, she freezes. Her breath catches before she leaps into the air, tossing her backpack aside because something extraordinary is on her front porch. It’s her grandparents. There, standing like a gift of love, are her favorite people. 

This girl’s reaction is instant, shrieks of pure joy and pure love that echo only what family can give. Her feet barely touch the ground as she races to them, her arms flung wide to catch them both in a hug. She can’t help but embrace the two people who have woven so much wisdom, fun, love, and grace into her life. Tears stream freely, not just from her eyes but from her grandparents too, as they hold on to one another as the world shrinks to this one sacred moment. 

Grandparents have a way of anchoring us, don’t they? They are the magic makers of our childhood. They're the ones whose steady hands help teach us to ride a bike, the voices that read stories long past bedtime, and they’re the ones helping us celebrate the big things like graduation, birthdays, weddings, and so much more. They are also the ones who show up for little things that leave imprints on our souls: the quiet conversations over cookies and milk, the knowing smiles across the room, and the unspoken reassurance that they are always there. 

Their thread of love feels both timeless and tender. Their love is a bond that teaches us to slow down, to savor the moment, and to cherish family traditions. And in this fleeting moment on the porch for this young woman, we see the beauty of it all–a young woman melting into the arms of her grandparents with their love spilling over and lifting each other’s hearts in gratitude. 

What a beautiful reminder that love, in all its generations, has the power to turn ordinary into something unforgettable.

A police officer chose an adorably sweet way to propose to his teacher girlfriend. It was done in such a way that it completely caught her off guard and left some people in tears. Watch the heartwarming moment in which a man proposes marriage to the love of his life.

Marriage is a massive, important step for every couple. As the marriage ceremony makes clear, those vows and the bond created are sacred and intended to last for the rest of their lives. The Bible mentions the importance and sacredness of marriage throughout God's Word. In Matthew, it states, “Let not that which has been joined by God be parted by man.”

However, before that couple stands before the altar and exchanges vows before God and their family and friends, one big thing must happen first. The man must ask the woman to be his wife. This is a step and story that every couple wants to be able to recite for the rest of their lives.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one police officer found a memorable way to propose to his girlfriend, a special education teacher. The officer made sure to incorporate some of the students, ultimately catching the woman by surprise.

From the look on her face, she had absolutely no idea what was coming as the officer got on one knee with the all-important diamond ring in hand.

“I’m surprised,” the woman, Jean Henry, said after the big moment while fighting off tears. “He did a great job, and I had no idea. And the kids, when they came in….I’m speechless.”

It would have taken him much preparation and planning to pull off such a sweet and thoughtful proposal. This is, no doubt, sure to be a moment that both will remember for the rest of their lives.

A woman found the sweetest, most heartwarming note from her elderly neighbor on her car. The cute letter shows how much he was concerned about her well-being during hazardous wintry weather conditions. Watch the short video to see and read the note the young woman found on her vehicle.

Arguments can be made as to why summer, spring and fall are the best seasons of the year. They all have many positives—the weather, outdoor activities and the food associated with those times of the year. Who is to say which one of those three is the best? It simply comes down to a matter of personal preference.

However, there is no question when it comes to the worst, least favorite season of the year. Winter is, by and large, the most hated time. Once you’re past the Christmas season, what else is there to winter besides snow, ice and cold weather? But perhaps the worst thing about winter is the often hazardous driving conditions.

In a clip posted on social media, an older man was concerned about a young woman getting out on the road during what appears to be recently fallen snow and ice. The man showed concern for her safety by leaving a sweet note reminding her to be careful and exercise caution while driving.

It was so cold that the note had become momentarily attached to her vehicle. After a bit of tugging and pulling, she removed it from the driver’s side window.

The note read, “This is ICE Not Snow. Little Gas and pump Brakes.”

The note may have been short, and after she freed it from her car, a little ripped, but it was so incredibly sweet. The older gentleman obviously cares for the young woman and thinks enough of her safety to remind her about the need to be extremely cautious when driving with ice and snow on the road.

A Walmart employee was recognized for helping a mom during a challenging, trying moment. He saw a mother needing help, and instead of simply watching and judging her, he showed her kindness and love. Watch the video to learn how the caring and empathetic man’s small act of kindness made a big difference.

Without question, children are some of the biggest and best blessings we can experience in life. They add so much joy and love, positively changing your life in every way imaginable. However, as every parent will wholeheartedly agree, not every moment with their children is a walk in the park or even enjoyable.

As the clip posted on YouTube mentions, a mother was in Walmart when she experienced one of these less-than-enjoyable parenting moments. She was in the popular retailer when her child, who has autism, had a meltdown. She had difficulty calming her son down, leaving her feeling embarrassed and overwhelmed. But in that moment, someone—Justin—stepped in and lent that mother a helping, loving hand.

So moved by what Justin did for her in that moment, the mother contacted a television station to alert them to his act of kindness. She wrote that he went “above and beyond” and was calm and supportive. She ended her letter about Justin by saying, “his kindness and support meant the world to me during this very challenging moment.”

Justin remembered the situation involving the mother and her son. As the father of a child with autism himself, he had an idea of what she was going through and how she must have felt at that time. He shared that after helping with her son, he gave her a hug and some sweet words of encouragement, telling her that despite how she might be feeling, she was a good mother.

The clip shows how a small act of kindness can make a world of difference to someone who is struggling or in need.

Danny Devito shared his joy about being a grandfather. The longtime Hollywood actor could not contain his happiness and delight about the two most recent additions to his family. Watch the short but sweet clip in which the actor expresses his love and joy for his grandchildren.

Being a parent is an absolute blessing from the good Lord. Children are, without question, the biggest and best gift we can receive on this Earth. As every parent knows, once those children enter the world and your home, your life will never be the same.

However, as great as being a parent is, some may argue that being a grandparent is even better. Think about it for a second. Mom and Dad, except when at work, are with their children 24 hours, seven days a week. Parents are around for everything regarding their children, including late nights, tantrums and every other less-than-pleasant moment.

Grandparents, for the most part, do not have to deal with any of that. They get to enjoy all the fun moments as they spoil their grandchildren rotten. Danny, like other grandparents, is also enjoying his new title: Grandpa. In a clip posted on social media, Danny mentions that his daughters have recently had babies and that he loves being a grandfather.

“In two years, my daughters have had a baby each,” he said. “And since these babies have been born, I’m just incorrigible. You got to tamper me down in the joy department, you know what I’m saying?”

He adds that he is very quick when showing photos of his grandchildren.

“In a minute, I’ll take out the phone and show you every picture,” he said. “I’m so lucky. Blessings showered down on me, and I wish it for everybody.”

What incredibly sweet words from a loving, overjoyed and blessed grandfather.
