TURN UP THE VOLUME ON THIS ONE AND WATCH ALL THE WAY THROUGH! This dance drama is a tale of two people. One is lax in the things of God, and the other is studious in the things of God. A trial/storm hits both of them. One is battered by the storm as she tries to fight under her own power, and the other is triumphant in the storm when she calls on the LORD with prayer and praise. But wait, there is hope...watch all the way through to find out what happens. This is a beautiful story of the Gospel and the Lords love and salvation.
This dance describes the LORD as a mighty Warrior. He goes to battle for us. He surrounds us with His fiery shield. He is our strength and our shield. The Shekinah Glory was the fire and cloud. Psalm 84. Psalm 3:3 Shofar and flag introduce the dance. Music by Timbrel...Terl Bryant...The Battle Prayer.
A charming and heartwarming true story for anyone who has ever longed for a place to belong. “Anne of Green Gables,” My Daughter, and Me is a witty romp through the classic novel; a visit to the magical shores of Prince Edward Island; and a poignant personal tale of love, faith, and loss.
And it all started with a simple question: “What’s an orphan?” The words from her adopted daughter, Phoebe, during a bedtime reading of Anne of Green Gables stopped Lorilee Craker in her tracks. How could Lorilee, who grew up not knowing her own birth parents, answer Phoebe’s question when she had wrestled all her life with feeling orphaned—and learned too well that not every story has a happy ending?
So Lorilee set off on a quest to find answers in the pages of the very book that started it all, determined to discover—and teach her daughter—what home, family, and belonging really mean. If you loved the poignancy of Orphan Train and the humor of Mennonite in a Little Black Dress, you will be captivated by “Anne of Green Gables,” My Daughter, and Me. It’s a beautiful memoir that deftly braids three lost girls’ stories together, speaks straight to the heart of the orphan in us all, and shows us the way home at last. - See more at: https://www.tyndale.com/Anne-of-Green-Gables-My-Daughter-and-Me/9781496403438#.VeS3c_lVjW8
The dance is a celebration dance done with flags. The song speaks of Jesus' second coming. Behold He comes, riding on the clouds. Music by Paul Wilbur...Days of Elijah.
BE PATIENT AS THE FUZZINESS CEASES-WATCH THROUGH...This dance is a reminder to us to seek the Lord and His still small voice in prayer and in quiet time. We come to Him in a Secret Place with our thoughts, desires, struggles, sins in need of forgiveness, and hurts. The Lord, Who is compassionate and kind will meet us there! Come as you are. Music by Vineyard:Hallelujah Glory; Secret Place
Mary, did you know, that when you kiss your baby, you kiss the Face of God? Watch for Mary and baby within the lighted stream of gold behind the dancers.
This dance is communicates the concept of Unity, but diversity in the LORD's presence. Exodus 25:30 says the Jewish people had bread on a table as an offering to God. This bread represented the Lord's presence. Jesus said He is the Bread of Life in John 6. We, as His priests, carry His Presence. Here, in the dance, we carry various kinds of loaves of bread and lift it high in the dance, demonstrating the lifting up of His name, His character, and His presence. Music by Paul Wilbur...In Your Presence.
This is taken from the parable of the Ten Virgins. Jesus said in Matthew 25 that the Kingdom of Heaven was like 10 Virgins, 5 of whom had their lamps trimmed and lit, and 5 of whom did not have enough oil in their lamps. Sleep crept in and at midnight a cry and trumpet call was heard proclaiming the Bridgegroom was here. Five virgins with lit lamps made it into the Kingdom of Heaven and five did not.
This dance is a beautiful and intimate dance, designed to bring a knowledge of how intimate we can be with the Lord...if we keep our eyes on Him and do not hasten to the voices of others. Music by JoAnn McFatter...Eyes for Only You.
Watch ALL way the through and turn up the volume! Isaiah 43 describes a storm of fire and high water. We all go through storms and trials in life. One slumbering person seemingly fails through the storm, when another person who is grounded in the LORD makes it through the storm with prayer and praise. Then they help the fallen person, along with other followers of Jesus. The LORD is there for you in your storm.
