5/27 To the Glory of God (Romans 15:5-7) "Receive Ye One Another" Pastor Jeff and Sis. E share that as often we have the opportunity to love on people, to receive people, we ought to. This is what Jesus did for us and we will never know what that might mean to someone. All for the glory of God. For other videos or more information on the ministry visit www.ongoodground.org

The Incredible Testimony Behind The Song 'Dance Again' By LIFE Worship

Be filled with the Holy Spirit as you hear the amazing testimony behind the hit song ‘Dance Again’ from LIFE Worship. This inspiring song is featured on the album of the same name. The album features live worship recorded at LIFE Church in the United Kingdom. But it is the story at the heart of the album that people keep talking about. For it is when people hear how ‘Dance Again’ came into existence that the bigger picture truly comes into focus. “Praise Him, for His love and mercy Praise Him, for His grace and favour Praise Him, our God is faithful Praise Him, He is strong and mighty” ‘Dance Again’ was inspired by the true story of Amanda Varty, a member of LIFE church. For nine years she was practically bedridden with ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis). Most days she couldn’t walk, and in time she lost her job. As times continued to worsen, it looked like Amanda and her husband may even lose their home. The couple was desperate beyond words, so Amanda and her husband went to church in hope of a miracle. That’s when she discovered some amazing. Amanda felt strength for the first time in years. She was even able to sit upright and hold up her hands in worship - hands that at home had been unable to lift a fork. However, when she left the church, the weakness returned. For eight months the situation remained the same; she felt weak at home but better at church. And then, eventually, the miracle was complete. Amanda got out of her wheelchair. Next, she did the one thing that she had dreamed of doing all those years. She danced again, before God. “His love has conquered all, His love has conquered all Your tears will dry, your heart will mend Your scars will heal and you will dance again” Acts 3:16 “And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.”

Seek the Lord (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Seek the Lord" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Seek the Lord While He Can Be Found".

We must seek the Lord and move to action while it is still the day of Grace! God will deal harshly with those who refuse to repent. God will strive with man to a certain point, He draws people to Himself, some obey, and some do not. But the day of Grace will end. In the days of Noah only Noah and his family were saved. To hear the voice of God we must step away from the culture and get away with God, you cannot even listen to the Church anymore! The Church by and large is being led away from God, people are turning to spiritual experiences that focus on self. People strive for complacency and ease, but this is not true Christianity! No one can be causal in the battle of the mind, we must cast down every thought and put it under captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Psalm 66:8-20

Psalm 66:8-20
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised (NRSVA)

8 Bless our God, O peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard,
9 who has kept us among the living,
and has not let our feet slip.
10 For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried.
11 You brought us into the net;
you laid burdens on our backs;
12 you let people ride over our heads;
we went through fire and through water;
yet you have brought us out to a spacious place.[a]

13 I will come into your house with burnt-offerings;
I will pay you my vows,
14 those that my lips uttered
and my mouth promised when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer to you burnt-offerings of fatlings,
with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams;
I will make an offering of bulls and goats.Selah

16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will tell what he has done for me.
17 I cried aloud to him,
and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
19 But truly God has listened;
he has given heed to the words of my prayer.

20 Blessed be God,
because he has not rejected my prayer
or removed his steadfast love from me.

I Need a Healer

I never expected God to save me. Nick became the young man that every parent wants to see their child become. Nick was saved by God's grace, love and mercy just 3 months before he left this world. Although he was an inspiration to those who knew him; his kindness, work ethic and fun loving spirit... in his last months; God laid me on his heart. Here is the last text that I ever received from Nick...: "April and I are getting baptized next Sunday and our church is praying for you; we love you and you can start denying yourself and get back to Gods plan for you, it's never too late."... It didn't even register in my mind, (at the time) that Nick had just told me he had been saved... I had lost my way and my feet had taken me places I never dreamed that I'd find myself. After Nick's death in an auto accident, I had a choice to make; self-destruction or surrender my life into the hands of our Savior Jesus Christ. I chose the latter; or should I say... the Holy Spirit reached out to me and drew me to the Heavenly Father through Christ. Now, Jesus has changed my life and my family's forever.. He paid a debt that I never could and has brought Hope and Healing beyond what I could have ever of expected. See ya in Heaven Nikki-boy and thanks for your prayers and all the great memories we will all cherish for the rest of our days.

The Bridge

This could be used as shown for offering or other transitions; or without sound while words guide vocal reading.

Insight: With passages from Psalm 55, elemental ripples and reflections introduce photos of a stream as it flows under a bridge where pigeons take shelter from the weather and traffic above. They emerge into the air as the water also flows into the landscape. Just past the shadows, the stream fills a sunny quiet pool, but you cannot see the pool unless you pass through the tunnel. The contrasting surroundings on the 2 sides of the bridge is a contemporary interpretation of the verse about the dove flying into the peace of the wilderness.

The Heavens

This could be used as shown for a worship transition; or without sound as a clip to fold into other video work.

Insight: Verses from Psalm 33 are illustrated by space dust transforming into an imaginary celestial body, which then appears as a moon in a forest wetland setting.

The white stone

This could be used as shown for offering or other transitions; or without sound while words guide vocal reading.

Insight: This video quotes the verse in Revelation, which could be a sermon theme, but the stream photos included also allude to consciousness itself and exploration of the submerged versus visible in ourselves...as well as absolution and renewal. The water and rocks shape each other and such stones could be obstacles or help (as when David searched for just the right ones to defeat the giant). The pastor may want to explain the appearance of a Greek word and how it and others meaning forgiveness are used in various references, also the role of white and black stones in ancient trials.

Sheep/Psalm 119

This could be used as shown for offering or other transitions; or without sound while words guide vocal reading.

Insight: These verses have a theme of seeking God, through a visual symbol of entering a gate, then seeing partially through the thorny grate of our imperfections, to views beyond representing the peace and bounty we are reaching for through obedience. There is a brief pause, then closure with a verse also beseeching God to search for us, with pastures and animal scenes to show how the psalmist felt we must appear in His eyes.
