Kim Walker-Smith - Alive

From Kim's album "Still Believe", this is an energetic song called "Alive". The song starts out a little bit slowly, but hang in there, when the drums kick in the song really takes off. Lots of energy here, on an energetic topic, being alive in Christ.

Mine Did Too - Story of Overcoming loss

The DeGarmo's lost their little boy - Azaiah Stone - to SIDS. While the family worshiped, a ministry was born - HE LIVES FOR KIDS.

Ascending

Ascending
I was born a worm and died a metaphor
I ascended from the leaf and became an inspiration
Winged with the knowledge of the unknown.
I lived in my shell till your laughter bought me out.
I inched my way to the great unknown
I left a glowing trail for others to follow.
You touched my soul and swam the great oceans
You were way too big to keep in an aquarium
So I keep myself if yours.
I was born a word that became an idea
That became a reason that became a question
That metaphor into a believer.
I was killed before I was allowed to hate
To be a salve and concentrate.
I was ripped out of the womb
Cause someone needed more room.
The action of two whether done in love or rage
Lead to my conception and to my grave.
I was born a worm and a concept to be scorn
I ascended from the earth with the roots
Of her soul clinched in my teeth.
Don’t love me because I live, love me because you breathe.
Dig deep to understand and not to bury another man.
Inch your way through life and you will live a million years
Ascending to the height of the highest branch
Ascending to the height of understanding
Ascending, ascending, and ascending.

An amazing story of hope.

Suffering is everywhere. It changes us for better or worse. For this man, it is a story of amazing hope that is contagious.

Respect for the Elderly

Dr. James Dobson gives great insight on the passing of time in our lives and how we must remain inspired to stay healthy and vibrant.

Plumb - Don't Deserve You

Most of us have thought at one time or another that we don't deserve God's love. But Romans 5:8 says otherwise - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This Plumb song from her 2013 album "Need You Now" says "I don't deserve Your love, but You give it to me anyway." Hallelujah for that!

Written by Plumb, Matt Bronleewe, and Paul Van Dyk.

Sunset on Glastonbury Tor

Very beautiful Sunset with ambient music by Brian Eno :-)

Karen Lynne - I Will See You Again

A nice song of hope about a tough time in life. I have lost both of my parents, and each time I continued to think "I will see you again". My father passed away in 2013, and my mother in 1986. For those 27 years I know that my dad was thinking all along "I will see you again".

This is Karen Lynne's rendition from her wonderful album "Shine Your Light". Karen is a popular bluegrass artist from Australia, doing mostly traditional bluegrass, but she decided to take a departure and record a gospel bluegrass album. It really is an outstanding album, check it out.

The song was written by Tami Pockstaller.

Pure Love for Christ (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Pure Love for Christ" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Pure Love for Christ".

Here is a sermon jam with audio excerpts of a sermon set to music. It explains both the benefits and the responsibilities that a true son or daughter of God is given through Christ. All must remember that if one enters into a relationship with God through Christ they have entered into the New Covenant. A covenant is an agreement between two parties and there are two parts of the agreement, two parts that must be kept. This sermon jam explains both sides of this covenant. Listen to it, reflect on it, and share it with others. We pray it is a blessing.

Jacqui McDaniel Pierce Survival Story

At 17, Jacqui Pierce was taking a joyride on a moped. As she rounded a curb, she lost control and hit a tree.

"The impact was so hard that my face detached from my skull," says Pierce, now 26. "I broke every bone in my face. They couldn't find eye sockets. My eye sockets had powdered."

On Pierce's 11th day in the hospital, her father made the decision to stop life support. Three days later, Jacqui came out of her coma. Today, her skull is made of titanium plates and screws, and she can't open or close her left hand.

A few years ago, Pierce joined her sister at CrossFit Rutherford in Tennessee. Today, she's snatching and cleaning and jerking with one arm, and she's jumping on 20-inch boxes.
