Matthew 5:9 “blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.”
• To be a peacemaker takes a simple understanding it’s not about YOU!
• ANYONE can serve in church, in our communities, and serve for the greater good
• BUT to serve God we must make scarifies that may cost our friends, social status and our lives.
• The military is a great example of the steps it takes to serve.
• It’s the heart in a vertical relationship that blesses us but it’s out horizontal relationship with those around us that lead others to find peace in Christ!
• To just have God and to have peace in God without sharing it would place our faith in vain.
• To be a peacemaker we must take out faith and become a living –breathing – walking social app for Christ make making connection with others.
The Daily Pulse (Monday, November 11, 2013): ... Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. Matthew 4:1-11 (NIV)
I was diagnosed with anorexia for the first time at age 11. This is story how God delivered me from this terrible disease. I hope to inspire others struggling with similar issues, and remind them that they are of infinite worth to God.
This video jam titled "Religion or Relationship?" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "I Delight to Do Your Will O My God".
Religion places the emphasis on the external, the superficial, and removes the heart from sincere worship. True worship comes from the heart. Any heart that is refusing to allow God's Word to be written upon it is not a citizen of Heaven. If God is our Father than by relationship we are His sons and daughters. God showed His love for us through sending Christ as a sacrifice. Sacrifice means suffering. Letting go and surrendering our rights to ourselves. Superficial religion will put the weight of the problem on another and annuls the relationship. Christ is about relationship, not religion at all! He rebuked the Pharisees for their external religion. God sent Christ to restore our relationship with Him and to create a new nature within us. Our hearts and minds were once enemies with God, and cannot be restored through outward religion! Those in the flesh cannot please God. Children of the flesh are full of religion and cannot walk in a relationship with God. God will only write His law upon a new heart that has been made new through the Holy Spirit. One who desires to follow Christ as Lord must remain upon the altar and remain surrendered to Christ. One will not have joy in serving God unless they have a relationship with God. The heart must be fully given over to Christ. Will you take up your cross and follow Jesus?
This video jam titled "Blasphemy Against the Spirit" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "What Secrets Does the Gospel Reveal About Your Heart?".
Every person who can learn God reveals Himself to and makes Himself seen and known. Blasphemy is willful disregarding of what God has said. Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. A blasphemer has paid no attention to God's saving grace. Anyone who ignores the voice of God is committing blasphemy and all will be judged. Our conscience will either excuse or accuse us based on how we respond to the will of God. Those that know God and do not glorify Him as God will not be able to claim ignorance to the Gospel. What is going on in the world today is a generation who is bent on sinning, who know the righteous judgment of God and yet do the same and approve of the sins that are being practiced. America is becoming pagan, most are despising the natural witness of God. Many are silencing their conscience and most of America despises God and holds Him in contempt and fighting against the revelation of God. The Church is consumed with idols, lust, and pride. God is calling to the world to repent. He cannot be ignored. Blasphemy against the Spirit cannot be forgiven. Will you allow the Holy Spirit to enter your heart today?

About the Book: The Tommie Scott Story is a true story—a true love story—but not of the usual variety. This is a story of a gangbanger, drug dealer, and "hit man" who worked his way through the juvenile reform system and into a California state prison by age twenty. It's the story of an angry young criminal with no remorse and no hope. And it's here—in the depths of hopeless darkness—that this story begins again. It begins again with a humble, gray-haired man who was not ashamed to be a servant and to share the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. It begins again with a new birth—a spiritual rebirth into God's family through Jesus Christ. And it continues today with a repentant and joyful servant—a dedicated soldier for Christ—whose true story affirms God's Word that says, "... neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38, NIV).
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10, NIV).
About the Author: Tommie Scott is former gang member and now born-again believer in Jesus Christ. He is an author, advocate for at-risk youth, a chaplain for the Las Vegas Community
This is a story of the pressures for outside beauty and appearance. True love and acceptance is sought after by everyone. But we often look in the wrong places for it, and our lives and hearts become wounded. Only the Father's love can restore us.
A team of film makers continue their efforts to pay it forward with hopes that others will do the same. This time, they are surprising unsuspecting people at the pumps.
