The Daily Pulse (Saturday, May 25, 2013): Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:34-36 (NIV)

We are to pray without ceasing - BUT, it needs to be effective prayer. There is good prayer, there is bad prayer, and there is the 'no-prayer' prayer which may often be the best.
Whittaker now says that he regrets winning the lottery.
"Since I won the lottery, I think there is no control for greed," he said. "I think if you have something, there's always someone else that wants it. I wish I'd torn that ticket up."
Whittaker had the very best of intentions: He truly wanted to share his good fortune and help people.
"I wanted to build churches," he said. "I wanted to get people food that didn't have food. I wanted to provide clothing for children that needed clothing."

This is third video of this song I have uploaded. Can't get enough of it. The previous version was by Christina Hamilton. This is by the Maranatha Singers, and I assume it's from a Promise Keepers conference. The pictures in this video are pretty much the same pictures I used in the Christina Hamilton video, I just switched out the music; sorry, sorta lazy. It's an awesome song, but the worship teams I have been on never sing it for some reason.
I don't usually care for modernized versions of traditional hymns. But I make exceptions; Chris Tomlin's "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone" for example.) This is the title song from a fabulous compilation album that is entirely composed of modernized hymns, by some of the most incredible contemporary Christian artists All of the hymns are very well known, no obscure ones thrown in. And all done in a modern style, And every cut is superb. This video that I made is representative of the entire album. I highly recommend this one. And if you are a worship team leader, these arrangements are perfectly suitable for congregational worship.
I forgot to put the names of the singers on this video. Mike Donehey (Ten Avenue North), Mark Hall (Casting Crowns), Steven Curtis Chapman, Mandisa.
On March 30, 2013, our Mother collapsed with a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was not expected to live. All over the world people began to pray, and to hope, for healing. Today we stand in the presence of a miracle.
