The idea of Christian abstinence rings is something that I personally don’t quite understand. If you are truly living as a Christian then you know that you are to refrain from sin. You know that there will be certain things that you will have to give up.

Watch this precious 3-year-old recite the Easter story word for word from the book of Mark. You will be so impressed with his storytelling abilities!
Little George is just 3 years old, but he knows his scripture perfectly! In this sweet video, George’s mom takes a video of him reciting Mark 16:2-8 from the New King James Version.
2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” 8 So they went out [b]quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
George gets every word right! And it is so adorable watching him tell the Easter story in his Woody outfit with all of his toys in the background.
His sweet little voice will just melt your heart, and his expressions are just so cute. I love how he acts out the words that he is reciting as well; he really is getting into the story!
But not only does George know these words in his head, he is able to take them and keep them near to his heart. May we all reflect on the Easter story and remember the good news of Christ’s resurrection!
When storms gather at life's horizon, it is easy to lose sight of our Savior. The trial may seem too hard, the pain too deep, the heartache too incurable. It isn't easy to believe that God can bring something beautiful from disaster, but we can trust that He does use stormclouds to create rainbows.
Whatever you're facing, whatever pain or sorrow you may carry, I pray that this song encourages you and gives you hope. May God be your Deliverer and may you never forget the love that He has for you.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, for the saving of many lives" Genesis 50:20.
