¿De Nazaret puede salir algo de bueno? (N° 69)

● Yo me entrego a ti.

(no te rindas, insiste y créele a Jesús)

"The Temple Tantrum" by Pastor Cleveland Way

Where God's Spirit Dwells

God wants His Spirit to dwell in the midst of His people, so He commands Moses to build a tabernacle. While the people are traveling to the Promised Land, God meets with them in this portable tent made specifically for Him. Later, Solomon built the Temple & God's Spirit dwelt with them there. When Jesus came, He was called Immanuel, God with us. Those that worshipped in the Temple rejected Jesus, so now His Spirit dwells within each one of us. We are His Temple! Also in this episode, tithing, the donations are abundant & God equips His people to serve Him. How generous are you with your possessions & gifts? Trust God to equip you to serve Him. #God #Holy Spirit #church #tabernacle #temple #spirit #generosity #tithing #giving #generous #service #serving

Our Walk With God

We can learn a lot about the Christian walk by looking at the journey of the Israelites after they escaped Egypt & became their own sovereign nation. So before we move on from Mount Sanai, we summarize their journey and look for similarities in our own Christian walk. We also look at Paul's description of his walk with the Lord and how we can relate. We ultimately will see that the victory is in Jesus and not in our own power. God's desire for us is to grow closer to Him & stronger in our faith. #God #faith #relationship #christianity #life #progress #process #growth #sin #sanctification #good #bad #victory #eternity

"A Sympathetic Savior" by Pastor Cleveland Way

Jesus washed feet Pilate washed hands

Hello and welcome to Salem UMC!!!
This is our pastor;s sermon for the week of March 7th
and it's also our FIRST SUNDAY of the new year that we
have come together to worship in person!!!

The Number 21 and Year 2021

We're in the year 2021. The Number 21. Twenty-one symbolizes the great wickedness of rebellion and sin. After the children of Israel left Egyptian bondage they had 21 major rebellious events as their traveled and wandered the wilderness.

The number 13, which symbolizes depravity and sinfulness, and 21 are closely related. The meaning of twenty-one in the Bible is an outgrowth of thirteen. Adding thirteen (sinfulness) and eight (symbolizing a new beginning) gives us twenty-one or a number that represents beginning a new level or effort that is sinful and disobedient against God.

On the last day of God's seven-day Spring festival, the 21st of the month of Nisan, the Eternal carried out his last judgment against the Egyptians. He drowned Pharaoh and his entire army in the Red Sea as they were pursuing the Israelites in order to make them slaves again. The last day of God's annual Fall Feast of Tabernacles, which occurs every year on the 21st day of the seventh Hebrew month, pictures the end of Christ's 1,000 year reign on earth when the devil is loosed out of his prison for a short time.

Satan's very first task, along with his demons, is to lead people into war and rebellion against all that is Holy. After a short period of time, God executes His final judgment against the Satanic forces by consuming them in fire (Revelation 20:10).

Appearances of the number twenty-one
One of the top ten shortest books in God's word, Obadiah, has only 1 chapter with 21 verses.

Did a Pandemic Begin Baby Baptism?

In the Roman empire, around the time of 165-180 a pandemic began that killed upward to 5,000 people daily. Shortly thereafter, people began baptizing infants on a large scale. Did the plague or pestilence cause this? Tertullian, Hippolytus and Irenaeus all wrote about it. It's a practice that continues today in many churches. Is it scriptural? Or does the grace of God cover those who are to young to understand how to repent, believe and become baptized?
