One man in South Carolina found a unique way to avoid getting stuck with a ticket during a traffic stop.

Getting pulled over is essentially a rite of passage for drivers. It’s something that will happen to most people at one time or another. Unfortunately, these occurrences can often result in an expensive ticket and handing over hard-earned money, which is something no one ever enjoys doing. 

However, a man of advanced age missed out on a ticket when he was pulled over one night. A video posted to YouTube of a traffic stop in Pickens, South Carolina, shows how the man used his impressive moves and fancy footwork to delight and amuse the officer on scene.

The situation started after the female officer pulled over the white pickup truck for failure to maintain a lane. But soon after initiating the stop, the officer noticed something odd. The elderly driver was wearing fancy footwear, usually used to make music. 

In the video, as the man is gathering his identification, his shoes make noise several times. The officer mentions that she hears it, to which the elderly guy asks her if she can dance. 

Seconds later, footage from the officer’s dash camera shows the two dancing right on the side of the road. The elderly suspect gives the officer a lesson during the traffic stop. 

Before the clip ends, the officer has a request for the man. She wants to see him perform some moves in his clogging shoes.

“Can you, can you do some dance with that?” the officer asks.

The elderly man fulfills her request and away he goes, strutting his stuff right on the side of the road. The officer, who is heard giggling, is thoroughly impressed. 

“That’s awesome!” she remarks.

The man was literally able to dance his way out of a ticket. He only received a warning for his traffic violation.

A homeless man, who sprang into action, risked his safety to save a family of three from a fire is being called an angel. 

Heroism is easy to spot but hard often hard to do. Everyone knows what a heroic act is, but it’s likely that not many would have the courage to complete one. Someone who would willingly put their safety at risk for the welfare of another, often a complete stranger, is a special kind of individual. Jim Hollins is that kind of person. He’s a hero.

In May, a fire broke out at an apartment in Phoenix, Arizona. Since the flames started around 4 a.m., the family of three – a mother and two little girls – were asleep at the time, according to a video posted on YouTube. 

However, the mother and her two children encountered trouble when they attempted to exit the burning apartment. The apartment’s front door and the stairs were engulfed in flames. But help was on the way, coming from an unlikely source.

The mother, Claudia Jimenez, opened one of the apartment’s windows and began shouting for help. Jim happened to hear Claudia’s screams for help. He then quickly rushed over to the burning apartment and got to work.

Jim said he climbed up the side of the window. Then one by one, Jim grabbed both children, their two dogs and Claudia. He had removed the family from the burning building when no one else was around.

But before she was rescued, Claudia was a bit apprehensive. However, Jim assured her she was in good hands. 

“She didn’t want to come, at first,” Jim said. “She’s scared she was going to fall. I was like, ‘I got you, don’t worry.’”

Claudia said she will be eternally grateful for Jim’s brave and heroic act.

“I will forever be thankful with him, you know?” Claudia said. “Like I said, to me, he was an angel. He was there when I needed. I looked around and no one else was around.”

One man playing an instrument provided an excellent visual depiction of sound waves.

Most people, but more than likely everyone, loves music in some way or another. Everyone has their favorite song, band or musician. But when it comes down to it, those favorite songs from that beloved band are nothing more than sound waves created by instruments and voices arranged in a specific order. 

Everyone who has ever played an instrument, studied music or even listened to a song knows that these sound waves are real and do exist in our world. However, they can often be hard to see. Well, a video posted on social media provides a mind-blowing display and a look at how sound waves appear in real life.

The short, 30-second clip on Twitter is of a man playing the trumpet into an elongated tube. Along the top of the tube are hundreds of small, tiny flames. Seconds into the clip, the musician starts playing the brass instrument, directing the sound into the tube.

As the sound enters the tube, the flames atop the device start to dance around. The flames react accordingly to the musician. The higher and the more intense the note, the more wildly and rhythmically the fire moves around.  

Around the 20-second mark, the camera, which had been primarily focused on the musician, goes in for a close-up shot of the tube. The dancing and jumping of the flames become noticeably more intense.

The clip ends abruptly with clapping and loud, enthusiastic cheering. 

The caption accompanying the video states that the man is playing into a Rubens Tube, which was “invented by German physicist Heinrich Rubens in 1905.”

The caption also adds that the tube was created to help show the “relationship between sound waves and sound pressure.”

What an absolutely dazzling and enchanting display!

A woman showed extraordinary courage, bravery and kindness when she rescued an animal in distress.

Life can be punishing, throwing up hurdles and obstacles in our way. These arduous situations can, unfortunately, can come as a result of doing. Yes, sometimes people screw up and a helping hand can be necessary in order to escape the predicament. It turns out that is true for both people and animals.

A video posted on YouTube shows a woman giving a bird, a Kookaburra, a hand. The bird had somehow managed to get itself stuck in a fence. In the video, it looks like the bird is stuck in a precarious position. 

While the bird’s face is completely visible, its thin, elongated neck remains stuck. It appears that if the animal were to struggle much at all, it could sever its neck, leading to possibly fatal injuries. Luckily, the woman was in the area to help the fowl.

In the video, the woman, who comes across the animal in the odd situation, sounds surprised that the animal is still living. She remarks that “you are alive.”

After viewers hear the woman’s voice, her hand is seen behind the bird as she closely moves the bird up the fence. As she is doing this, she has just one request for the bird.

“Please don’t bite me,” she said. “Please don’t bite me.”

As she finally moves the bird to the top of the fence and the bird’s freedom seems imminent, she sounds a bit uneasy. She’s obviously unsure of how the wild animal will react when it regains the ability to move about freely. 

“Oh, gosh,” she said.

The bird, once freed, immediately flies away. It appears to have suffered no injuries as a result.

Thankfully that woman was around to give a hand and free the bird. Yes, the animal may have gotten itself into that position but just like people, birds also need help every now and then.

Grab a tissue, and watch one sweet momma dog thank a kind stranger for feeding her starving pups! This one is a tearjerker!

There are a hundred things that we don’t know about this quick Twitter clip. Where is this taking place? Is it a rural setting or in a city on the other side of the world? Who is the woman that we see from behind, her violet sweater and blue headscarf the only identifying pieces of information we can collect? Was she equipped with plastic gloves when she came upon the canine family? Have they been abandoned? Countless are the questions we might like to ask.

However, none of that matters because we catch the most important bit of information without knowing all of the extras. Watch this sweet woman offer a beautiful measure of kindness to a hungry dog and her pups. 

The lady puts food, though it’s hard to tell what kind, in a box or feeder for the pups. There look to be five little guys and gals. They immediately begin eating and enjoying the blessing, but the mother of the adorable litter does not eat.

Instead, after the pups begin eating, she walks around to the other side of the lady benefactor to offer her a gesture of appreciation. The pooch places her paw on the lady’s hand and seems to be expressing her gratitude for the nourishment that might save her babies. The lady pauses and lovingly places Momma’s head between her hands, petting her and demonstrating her empathy. She understands how the thankful momma dog feels because she may be a mom or caregiver herself.

While studies and statistics may not prove it to be true, dogs certainly do seem to be among the most loyal and loving of God’s creatures. This one certainly must be! It just goes to show that love is often understood even when there is no common language—sometimes even when there is no common species.  

“Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.” Psalms 112:4

Mario Lopez switches spots with his wife and tries labor pain simulation for the first time. He was joined by his wife, Courtney Lopez, while Dr. Linda Sayyad operated the pain simulation machine. He had the opportunity to experience the first two stages of pain and labor. 

At first, Mario seemed to handle the pain with a cheeky smile. As Dr. Sayyad turned up the level of pain, Mario started to sweat. 

As the pain intensified, he acted like any woman in labor. He didn’t want to be touched, and he needed to concentrate as he got through the pressure. As his wife Courtney tried to console him, Mario said, “Hold on, hold on, I don’t want to be touched. I’m trying to deal with his,” as his breathing got heavier. 

But Mario has a competitive spirit. Instead of stopping at level seven, he opted to go for level eight of the labor pain simulation because Dr. Sayyad’s husband only made it to level seven. Mario was a sport and even tried to get on the labor ball when feeling the contractions. 

“Ohhhh!” he said as he felt a fake contraction. “Wow, this happens for hours?” He added as he did his best to move around on the labor ball. 

Finally, at level 12, Mario threw in the towel. He was in a lot of pain and looked at his wife with new admiration when he said, “That is awful. That’s awful. Wow, that is awful right there,” he groaned through the pain. 

Mario and his wife have been married for ten years and were blessed to have three children. After going through this experience, I bet Mario thinks twice about asking his wife to plan for a fourth child. Now he knows the difficulty and pain of labor. At least he was a good sport and took it in stride. 

Experiences like this help us experience what our spouse experiences. It creates the opportunity for a new perspective and respect, and a whole lot of admiration. I bet he won’t forget this bonding experience anytime soon. Let’s give him a round of applause for being a loving, supportive husband. 

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,” Ephesains 5:25.

One young woman is a hero after she sprang into action when she spotted her twin brother in extreme distress.

Anyone with siblings knows there are a lot of fights and disagreements growing up. As much as parents would like their children to get along, it’s not likely to happen, at least not during adolescence. However, as one young lady showed, most of the time, beneath all those heated arguments and sharp words is love.

A clip posted to YouTube shows the moment a 12-year-old boy started choking during lunch in a Massachusetts school cafeteria. A piece of cheese had become lodged in 12-year-old Charlie Loverme’s throat. At the time, Charlie admitted he feared the worst.

“I thought I was going to pass out or maybe die,” Charlie said.

Charlie also added that during the scary situation, he began reaching and grabbing for his throat. He was trying to signal to the other children around him that he was choking and desperately needed help.

But, as the video shows, the other children did not understand Charlie’s signal for help. Instead, his classmates quickly vacated the area. The video mentions that they believed Charlie was about to get sick and vomit.

Thankfully, though, Charlie’s twin sister Amelia stepped up and sprang into action. The video shows the young woman standing and then quickly administering the Heimlich maneuver. Seconds later, everything appears to be Ok. 

Amelia, who saved her brother’s life, mentioned what made her perform the lifesaving move.

“I just knew that he was choking because his face was turning a different color,” she said.

Thank God Amelia was there and knew exactly what to do to save her twin sibling’s life. She stepped up when others, as the video shows, backed away from Charlie. She is a true hero in every sense of the word.

Watch this emotional video of a young boy crying after learning that his family finally has a home again after being without one for a while.

Darrell and Mallory are husband and wife and have two sons together. Recently, Darrell had to undergo emergency open-heart surgery, and he was unable to work for six months. His wife Mallory had to work two jobs to avoid eviction.

“I was working two jobs while I was helping him in recovery,” Mallory said. 

“We just kept falling farther and farther behind. Finally, it got to the point where we couldn’t stay where we were at anymore,” shared Darrell.

“We realized that we are going to have to break our lease to avoid eviction,” said Mallory.

The family was able to stay with a friend while they were trying to find a new place to live, and they also had to move into a hotel for two weeks during that time.

“It was extremely stressful,” Mallory shared. “And it was stressful on our kids, but they were so amazing. I mean, they just were so resilient.”

When the family finally had their application approved for a home, they were so relieved. And Mallory decided to take a video of her kids when she and her husband revealed that their family had a new place to call home.

“That day, we picked the kids up from school,” she said. “They came out of the car, and I said, ‘I’m going to hit record.’ And I turned around and said, ‘Hey. By the way, this is our house.’”

That’s when her son, Evin, completely lost it and cried tears of joy! Mallory went on to share the heartwarming video on her TikTok, and it went viral and so many people wanted to help the family out by sending appliances and furniture for their new home.

“The first day, when we got the keys to the house, that was the day we were going to open everything. It was like the best Christmas morning, to watch our kids open all those gifts and to feel so loved by people and supported. It was an amazing week. We were just so grateful. We just can’t believe that we’re here and that this is our life, and that we survived the hardest year of our lives. And we’re here, and we’re comfortable and stable,” Mallory said.

What a blessing and a testimony of God’s faithfulness towards this family!

Inside Edition’s Andrea Swindall shares a story of hope when a pet missing for 3 years is returned home for a heartwarming reunion with his owner. Check out this sweet video!

When the owners of an 18-year-old poodle mix were notified by Dorchester Paws that their long-lost pooch had been found, they couldn’t believe it. Their dog, Binky (a.k.a. Mr. B.), had been found six hours from their home! And, though unkempt and in rough shape, the dog was still alive! 

Shelter staff members Lanea Wilson and April Howard explain how Binky ended up in their facility. Found along the side of the road by a “good Samaritan,” Mr. B. was brought into the shelter for care. Lanea describes Mr. B.’s condition when he arrived. Binky was horribly matted and flea infested. He was malnourished, filthy, and scared, and his nails were very long. He had not been cared for in a long time. 

However, Mr. B. had been microchipped, and that’s how they were able to locate his owners. Binky’s family was preparing for a move when he disappeared. They waited a few extra days before leaving their home and contacted all of the local shelters in hopes of finding Binky before leaving. They did not want to leave him behind!

Unfortunately, they did not locate Binky before making their move to a new home in another town in Georgia. And, there’s no way of knowing where Binky has been over the last few years—how he arrived all the way in Summerville, South Carolina.

A Dorchester Paws volunteer drove Binky, once he’d been cared for, cleaned, and clipped, back home to his Georgia family. What a wonderful reunion it was! 

Linea and April encourage pet owners to get their dogs chipped. With minimal cost and no health consequences to the animals, it is the best way to make sure a pup is returned home if it runs off.

Mr. B. is very old now, but he’s finally home, and it looks like he’ll be getting a lot of love and pampering in his final days!

A pair of city workers in California made an astonishing discovery when they came across a woman’s lost diamond engagement ring. 

Two people show their love and commitment to one another in a number of ways. The wedding ceremony and the public exchanging of vows immediately come to mind. Vow renewal ceremonies, parties and gifts commemorating special dates and occasions in a marriage are also popular.

However, the initial marriage proposal is the event that sets all the others in motion. It’s a big step for any and every couple looking to make a lifetime commitment to one another. Normally, a man asks for a young lady’s hand in marriage, complete with a diamond ring. 

Understanding how significant that specific piece of jewelry is in a relationship, one man went to great lengths to recover a ring after his fiancée’s 5-year-old lost it. The child had actually flushed it down the toilet after John and Yana Glass had been engaged for only a month, according to the clip posted on YouTube.

John, after he removed the toilet from the floor, used a drain camera to search for the ring. As the video shows, John did locate the ring. But unfortunately, it was too far under the house for him to recover it.

John’s next move was to ask the city of Chino Hills, California to flush the lines near the house. Unfortunately, that was also unsuccessful. Yana Glass was still without her diamond engagement ring. 

Then, more than a year later, about 14 months after the ring went down the toilet, city workers who were simply doing sewer maintenance in the area came across the expensive piece of jewelry. Yana’s ring had been recovered!

One of the workers mentioned that the chance of anyone finding a ring in such a location is not good. 

“It’s literally one in a million to find a ring in here,” he said.

Likey, that ring will now never leave Yana’s finger.

A child who had spent years in foster care now has a loving forever home to call her own.

Children are a blessing from the good Lord above. They do come with increased levels of stress, worry and anxiety. But children also add plenty of joy and love to parents' lives. While some who seek to become parents may have issues conceiving, there are other avenues to becoming a mom or dad.

There are plenty of children in need of good, safe and loving homes in the world. Many children are simply waiting to be adopted, to have a mom and a dad. 

Cindy and Jeffrey Moore are two people who badly wanted to become parents but encountered infertility issues. But that didn’t stop them from adding Cece to their family, even though it may have taken years to make it permanent.

In the video posted on YouTube, Cindy mentions that Cece came into their lives when she was just two months old through the foster care system. 

“Once we saw her cute little face, we jokingly told them, ‘If you need a place long-term, let us know,’ Cindy said. “And the next day, they said, ‘Yeah, you know, actually, if you’re serious about it, we could really use a long-term placement for her.’”

Years later, after 1,954 days, the Moores finally became Cece’s mother and father.

“You know, here we are, over five years later and that long-term placement has now become a forever home for her.”

Cece isn’t the only child the Moores have adopted, according to the video. They have adopted two other children and Cindy stated that she and Jeffrey are now in the process of adopting Cece’s biological brother.

What a beautiful and loving family! God bless Cindy and Jeffrey for showing love and kindness to children in need of homes.
