Every day, this puppy waits by the road for her human to get off the school bus, and I don’t think I’ve seen a cuter friendship! Two of the sweetest beings on the planet almost always have the most precious friendships — a puppy and a kid of course! They’re both gentle and playful in the cutest ways and make the best playmates. Especially when they get to grow up together! The puppy in this video, which seems like a Boxer mix, clearly hasn’t been with her new family for too long yet. But she and her little human already have an unbreakable bond! In the clip, you can see that the puppy already knows the school bus is coming and sits on the sidewalk in front of her house. When the bus pulls up to stop, she can’t hold in her excitement and moves to a spot on the driveway. She can hardly sit still! The moment the bus doors open, the playful pup simply can’t wait any longer and starts hopping around while wagging her tail. Although she would probably be happy to greet anyone, she knows that her boy gets off after the crossing guard. You can see her almost ignoring the guard and looking for him! Adorable! Like the good girl she already is, she pounces around at a safe distance from the road even after the boy steps off the bus. But the moment he touches the ground, he runs toward her bending down and clapping. They’re both so excited to see each other after a long day of school! Just imagine the little boy’s excitement to see his little buddy waiting there for him every day. He has a best friend that will definitely love him unconditionally. Remember the real reason for the Christmas season as you listen to this father-daughter duet to ‘Angels We Have Heard On High.’ This classic Christmas song is the perfect reminder that we are celebrating the birth of our Savior, and all of His many blessings. “Angels we have heard on high Sweetly, sweetly through the night And the mountains in reply echoing their brief delight Gloria, in excelsis Deo, Gloria, in excelsis Deo” Adrian and Emma-Jean Galliard are a talented father-daughter duo from Johannesburg, South Africa. On their website, Adrian and Emma-Jean shared that they have been singing together for a while. But they rose “to internet fame after videos of them singing The Prayer & Time To Say Goodbye went viral, leading to them being mistaken for the son & granddaughter of Andrea Bocelli.” Today, they are helping to get us in the Christmas spirit with this beautiful rendition of ‘Angels We Have Heard On High.’ Just listen as they belt out these lyrics that we all know and love. “Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong? What the gladsome tidings be Which inspire your heavenly song?” At Christmas, we remember that it is not about the gifts under the tree. In one of the most inspiring videos you’ll see on the internet, ‘The Weight Of The Badge’ by George Strait honors first responders with an emotional song. And you don’t want to miss it. If you’ve ever found yourself in a situation in life when first responders were needed, you’ll want to watch and share! The idea of the song was first conceived when George was honored with the 2018 Texan of the Year Award. for his efforts to raise funds and awareness for Hurricane Harvey relief. George explained that during the ceremony, his grandson Harvey was given a badge from one of the security officers at the ceremony. The officer let his grandson play with the badge and pin it to his shirt. In that moment, George realized the badge isn’t that heavy until you put it on, and then the weight of what it becomes powerful because of what it represents. The country singer then collaborated with this son Bubba and his songwriter friend, Dean Dillon. The melancholy tune captures the duty, honor, and responsibilities first responders carry when they choose to sign up for a dangerous job that puts their lives on the line. The song also captures the weight of what each family member carries when their loved ones leave for work: He spends his life just like his dad's Driving away under the weight of the badge This video follows first responders, officers, emergency professionals, and firefighters. In the video, a police officer’s wife said, “Every time he leaves, I always say call me or text me because I want to make sure he’s okay because I know it’s a possibility that he may not be some time. That’s the biggest weight and I feel like a lot of times when he leaves when I give him a hug and kiss goodbye, I always hold on to him for a couple of extra seconds. Just because.” A firefighter responded to George Strait’s song too. She commented, “So for me, the weight of the badge is the weight of the pager. When the tones go off, the emergency comes in and you’re going.” One officer in the video recounts how hard it is to put the badge down at the end of the day when he goes home and tries to leave work at work. He said, “But you still have to leave and go home and take that badge off. But after you’ve had that long day at work your heart is still heavy because of what you’ve seen.” The video has already had more than 465k views, and it’s catching on like fire--rightly so. With all the turmoil going on in this country, thank God for first responders and their families. They kiss their loved ones goodbye and they don’t know if they will come home.
