Carol Burnett as Elderly Woman Brings the Laughs in Classic Skit

Carol Burnett, while playing an elderly woman, brought the laughs in a classic skit from The Carol Burnett Show.

No one has yet found a way to stop or slow down time. Since time continues to move forward at a steady and consistent pace, aging is still a process everyone experiences. Every second, minute and hour passes, we get a little older.

Since aging is an unfortunate fact of life and nothing we can stop or avoid, we might as well accept it. Worrying about getting older or something else we have no control over does no one any good. The best thing we can do regarding aging is to make and poke fun at it. Try to find the humor and the good in getting older.

That is precisely what Carol and Harvey Korman did in another hilarious sketch from The Carol Burnett Show. In the clip, Carol plays an elderly woman who is being honored for her many contributions to the world of acting. Movie stars and media members have come out in full force to celebrate Stella Toddler’s (Carol’s character) achievement.

However, because of Stella’s advanced age, several problems occur in the lead-up to her big moment. For starters, Stella has quite the issue with her hearing. It appears that she’s unable to hear when a megaphone is literally placed up to her ear.

Stella’s lack of hearing and her equally poor balance result in her being beaten senseless. She takes one inadvertent strike after another. At one point, she even ends up lying, face-first, on a massive, scorching light. She is mistakenly flipped on her back, allowing her back to rest on the blazing light fixture.

But, as with most good sketches, the biggest laugh is saved for last.

Throughout the sketch, Harvey appears on the verge of bursting into laughter, as he often does in skits. However, he does his best to keep from breaking character as Carol steals the show, providing one laugh after another.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, cries of joy will come from your lips.”

Harvey Korman's Comical Antics to Avoid Chores in Hysterical Sketch

In yet another hysterical sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, Harvey Korman used some comical moves and hilarious antics to avoid doing chores around the house.

Like everything good and worthwhile, marriage is hard and requires constant work. Of course, not every moment in a marriage is sunshine and roses. Married couples will experience their fair share of ups and downs.

Anyone who has been married for any time understands that there are bound to be fights and tiffs in every marriage. No marriage is perfect, and no two people are going to agree on everything all the time. Disagreement is a part of life, and it’s about finding a compromise and a way to work through it.

In a hilarious clip from The Carol Burnett Show, Carol and Harvey play a married couple. Carol and her sister are working, preparing the living floor to be cleaned. But they both know they will need Harvey’s help moving the furniture. With hilarious accuracy, Carol predicts she will encounter impediments when moving the furniture.

Carol knows her husband exceptionally well and can anticipate Harvey’s moves and words to get out of helping even before he enters the room. Hilariously, Carol is right on the money every single time. She even knows the exact words and phrasing of the excuses her husband will give her.

Harvey continues to give Carol flimsy excuse after weak excuse. He wants nothing more than to watch football in peace, and he doesn’t want to move furniture now. He makes that incredibly loud and clear to Carol.

Despite Harvey's many protests, Carol insists on his help moving the furniture. The married couple goes around and around, yelling at one another while the furniture remains in the same place.

But things turn unexpectedly when a neighbor comes over, and Harvey immediately changes his tune. All his ailments and illnesses are magically gone, and he wants to move the furniture now.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

Bob Hope and Big Bird's Funny Back-and-Forth Is Comedy Gold

Legendary comedian Bob Hope and Big Bird had a hilarious back-and-forth conversation that is pure comedy gold.

Comedy can take many forms, some of which may not be for everyone. Some of those forms includes physical comedy, in which comedians and actors use their bodies in different and hilarious ways. But there is also the snappy, quick-witted type of comedy, which commonly uses funny one-liners and clever wordplay to get the audience laughing in their seats.

Talented comedians can easily and masterfully perform many different types of comedy. Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman are a few of the people who fit into this category of versatile comedians. The hysterical and iconic Bob Hope should also be included in that list.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Bob shows that he can still bring the house down with laughter even if his comedic sparring partner is a famous big yellow bird. According to the video's description, Big Bird appeared with the legendary comedian on his World of Comedy special in October 1976.

Bob and the famous character from Sesame Street mention several topics in the three-minute clip. Big Bird asks if Bob has yet been promoted from the alphabet to entire words. Bob responds incredulously that he knows how to read and write, and he makes the yellow bird aware that he has authored seven books. The bird shoots back that he’s aware of his books. This causes the entire audience to break out in laughter.

Next, Big Bird wonders aloud if he’s meant for primetime network television because he had been informed that only turkeys appeared on those channels.

While Big Bird does get in many shots at Bob, he takes them all in stride. He sets up every one of the jokes, allowing his feathered guest to get the laugh. Bob demonstrated that he was a good sport and was willing to take a couple of jokes at his expense.

Detective Duo's Hilarious Mishaps in Side-Splitting Carol Burnett Sketch

A detective duo has several hilarious mishaps in another classic and side-splitting sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

There is a wide range of comedy films, basically something for every taste and preference. One such film is the buddy cop film. Buddy cop comedies have essentially become their own genre due to the high number of them Hollywood has and continues to produce.

Films like Rush Hour, 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop and the Lethal Weapon movies all follow a similar, predictable set-up and formula: Two mismatched police officers are thrown together to solve a murder, robbery or other crime. Initially, the two cops don’t get along or care for one another. However, through a series of mishaps and hilarious situations, the officers become friends and eventually solve the crime at the last minute.

In another hilarious sketch posted on YouTube, Carol plays a severely injured and inept detective with her husband. Yes, they are detectives and not police officers, but the nearly eight-minute sketch very closely resembles a buddy cop movie. They are both totally and utterly useless as detectives, having never even had one case.

But, out of nowhere, they get a phone call. It’s someone asking for help trying to find the person who is threatening her life. Well, have no fear because Carol and her detective husband are on the case.

On second thought, if you hired these two to help you find someone who wants you dead, you’ve become pretty desperate. However, Carol and her husband fumble their way through the case and somehow, some way finds the culprits.

This short sketch is jam-packed with laughs. Most of them come from the large amount of physical comedy as Carol accidentally keeps whacking people on the head with the oversized cast on her arm.

In this sketch, Carol Burnett shows again why she is considered a comedic legend.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Andy Griffith and Carol Burnett Tackle Marital Problems in Classic Sketch

Everyone loves a good comedy about marriage relationships. Check out this video as Andy Griffith and Carol Burnett tackle marital problems in this classic sketch.

The clip starts out showing the husband in many picture frames as a football coach with his trophies in their family living room. The wife suddenly throws one of the frames to the ground as the daughter comes in. She tries to comfort her mother, and she says that she has it bad because she wishes she had a girl’s name. She reveals that her name is Bronco. The mom jokes that she fought it the best she could. She comically encourages the daughter that at least she has a normal middle name, Ralph. The audience laughs.

The wife answers the door alone, and the daughter flees in fear. He comes in and tries to do a football play. He punches her in the shoulder. He says, “give another kiss.” He blows a whistle and then makes her do a football play and smacks her on the bottom. They drink martinis out of an ice bucket, and the husband tells her that she has no team spirit. He threatens to bench her. She sits down. The dad calls in Bronco. He tells her she is out of the family. He jokes that he can make a trade. They joke about their honeymoon at the Green Bay Packers game at halftime.

Merlin, a football friend of the husband's, comes in. She kisses Merlin in hopes of getting him kicked out. She yells the football term “hut” at him, so he leaves. She tells her football-crazed husband that she is through. She gets her coat and busts out; she jokes that when she is gone, no one will know she was ever married to a football coach. As she busts through the door, the number 30 is sewn on the back of her coat like a jersey. The audience laughs.

Marriage can be challenging. It is important to cultivate it, communicate, and love each other well. May this video remind us that we should seek God in our marriages to help us in our struggles.

“However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:33

Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman Clash with Their Maid in Classic Sketch

Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman experienced quite the clash with their maid in a classic and hilarious sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

Completing all the household chores in a timely manner can be a big job and nearly impossible with everything else people have going on in their lives. That’s why some people look for outside help when it comes to cooking, cleaning and laundry. Some opt to hire a maid to help them around the house.

In a sketch posted on YouTube, Carol and Harvey play a married couple who have recently hired a maid. The clip begins with both of them anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new employee. Getting things done around the house will now be much easier, or so they thought.

Carol feels a tad self-conscious because their maid is described as a beautiful young woman from Ireland. She wonders if having a younger woman around the house is such a good idea. On the other hand, Harvey also looks forward to having this person around. He even bought her an outfit, which Carol is entirely against.

However, after the maid arrives, things go from bad to worse for Harvey and Carol. Instead of a woman in her 20s or 30s, their employee is near retirement age. The woman admits that that was a bit of a fib on her part.

But then the woman makes herself right at home, even putting on Carol’s bathrobe and slippers.

It gets worse.

The woman who is hired to clean around the house is completely unfamiliar with a vacuum cleaner. Near the end of the sketch, Harvey and Carol learn that the woman is not even from Ireland but from the Bronx in New York.

Harvey and Carol are beside themselves, realizing pretty early that they have made a terrible hire. Oh well, their mistake made for an absolutely hilarious sketch!

Hilarity Ensues as Tempers Flare in Classic Carol Burnett Show Sketch

Hilarity ensued as tempers flared in a classic sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

Being able to read and knowing how to act and what to say in social situations is a handy skill. Quickly picking up on the general mood of people will save you trouble. That skill and ability will keep you from sticking your foot in your mouth. Like most things, this can be learned over time.

However, exercising proper etiquette and employing basic social norms shouldn’t be hard, right? But some people (we all know a few) can’t help but say the wrong thing at the most inopportune moment. Saying or doing the wrong thing can and will dredge up a painful memory for someone else, causing them to react emotionally.

A clip posted on YouTube features Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman in a sketch about saying the wrong things at the wrong time, which causes people to react emotionally. Tears are shed, and tempers flare throughout the sketch, but there are also plenty of laughs.

Harvey’s best friend, who has just undergone a messy breakup, is an emotional mess. Being the good friend that he is, Harvey has invited his buddy over to help him during this painful time. Harvey has plans to treat him to dinner and even take him to a basketball game.

However, Carol can’t help but keep saying the wrong thing to Harvey’s buddy, causing him to devolve into a ball of tears every time. Also, every time Harvey walks back into the room, it’s to see his buddy bury his face in his hands because of something Carol had just said.

Naturally, Harvey gets a bit upset at Carol for doing this. But then, hilariously, Harvey also starts to do this. Everything he says triggers an emotional reaction in his buddy.

Also, Harvey’s buddy unintentionally causes a tiff between Harvey and Carol. Carol learns Harvey’s honest opinion about her meatloaf.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Hilarity Ensues as Tim Conway Waits for the News in Classic Sketch

Tim Conway is hilarious as news anchor Paul Bedford in this classic sketch from The Carol Burnett Show! Check it out!

The Carol Burnett Show aired on CBS from 1967 through 1978. So, while skits and clips from the 279 episodes that were produced will provide laughs for many years to come, they also serve as mini-history lessons.

In this sketch, Tim Conway portrays a television news anchor trying to navigate new technology while live on the air. Tim Conway does incredible things without many words because his expressions and timing are brilliant! His posture, serious manner, and professional dress are spot-on imitations of anchors of those days.

The video begins as Paul introduces himself to the millions watching at home. He explains that their newsroom brings the most current and up-to-date news to viewers and utilizes a “news machine.” The news will come from the machine and be shared immediately. Even Paul doesn’t know the news yet!

Following that exciting build-up, though, the news machine malfunctions, leaving Paul with nothing to say and no one to banter with for several moments. Today’s anchors usually work in pairs, but poor Paul is hanging out there all alone!

When Anchorman Bedford finally gets something to read, he ends up stating the obvious—the new machine is not working. Awkward!

Paul decides to have Weatherman Don share the forecast. He gives a strong, confident hand-off to Don, only to get bumpkis in return. Don’s not prepared to provide the weather report because Don’s not even in the studio. He’s on vacation!

When it finally seems things are on track, Paul is handed a couple of pages right from the news machine. He reads that the government says there will definitely be a rate hike, but as he flips to page two, the figures of the proposed hike aren’t there. It’s a major cliffhanger!

Next up is sports. If there’s one thing about Paul, he is patient. Tim plays Paul as a total professional; he’s calm and polite even though his show is going up in flames during ratings week. Actually, that would have been interesting. Paul’s got nothing to work with!

When given the sports page, Paul reads a few sets of numbers. Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, at this point, no team information is given. Folks at home will have to wait for that tidbit.

Paul is handed another sheet by off-screen George, who seems to be of little help. This time the  headline reads, “Do the commercial, stupid.” Tim Conway demonstrates Paul’s embarrassment expertly when his eyes open wide in a subtle, but telling response.

He tells viewers to watch the filmed commercial from Britain Realty, smiling now and hoping for a few seconds of reprieve. The break doesn’t come, and Paul once again has egg on his face. He waits and waits, holding a goofy smile and eye contact, but the break never comes. Finally, he does his own wrap-up to a 2-minute spot that never happened!

The time comes for PB to take calls from viewers. His rotary phone is there and ready, but the lines are quiet. He grabs the pitcher to pour himself a glass of water, but instead, a mountain of cigarette butts comes flowing out. It’s just one disgrace after another, and Tim has us laughing about each one.

Sadly, the only person who calls is his wife—with a grocery list. When Paul gets the list written and can return to the broadcast, he has one final mortifying moment. With pressure from his wife, Paul ends the call by saying, “Poopsie Whoopsie loves you, too.”

Anchor Paul Bedford calls it a day. He says it’s 6:30, and their time has ended, but the clock on the wall surely says otherwise!

Commenters call Tim Conway a “master of timing” and a “comic genius.” Others praise his commitment to craft and priceless expressions. Two more use the words “excruciatingly good” and “cream of the crop.”

The news can be painful and unpleasant on many days, but this nightly update was one funny broadcast!

They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Psalm 112:7

Tim Conway Checks Into Horrible Hotel In Hysterical Sketch

Comedic legend Tim Conway checked into a horrible hotel in another hysterical and classic sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

While everyone enjoys getting away from time to time, traveling can be a stressful experience. Planning for and then actually going from Point A to Point B can leave even the calmest, most even-tempered person on edge.

Sadly, the stress level can increase dramatically when other accommodations are made, such as staying in hotels. You can never be quite sure what to expect when you book and then stay in a hotel. It may be the best place you’ve ever stayed on vacation, or it may fail to meet your standards. It’s a gamble at that point.

In a sketch posted on YouTube, Tim Conway made that gamble, and he lost in a major way. He chose what could easily be described as the worst hotel ever. Nothing goes right, making for a disastrous stay but a hilarious sketch.

The sketch starts with Tim utterly exhausted, wanting to be left alone to catch some much-needed shuteye. He actually falls asleep standing up in the middle of a conversation twice.

But things only get much worse.

He first encounters issues with the closest and its hangars, which are essentially useless. After much effort, he gets his jacket on one of the hangars, and it immediately falls to the ground.

He also gets increasingly annoyed by a flashing vacancy sign outside his window. Then, he hears a couple having quite a loud disagreement next door. Hilariously, Tim ends up becoming an innocent victim of the couple’s domestic dispute. A lamp comes flying through the wall, striking Tim in a most unfortunate place on his body.

However, Tim’s biggest issue is the presence of a pesky fly who insists on bothering him. All he wants to do is get some sleep, and the insect refuses to stop its annoying shenanigans.

Carol Burnett's Comedic Genius Shines in Invisible Husband Sketch

The legendary Carol Burnett’s comedic genius was evident during a hysterical invisible husband sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

Comedy is much harder to do and pull off than drama. Everyone can spot drama from a mile away and those unexpected twists and turns that heighten the tension in a film or television show. Talented dramatic actors are a dime a dozen.

However, comedy is much more subjective and thus more difficult. What one person finds hilarious may not and likely will not be the same thing that gets someone else chuckling. Everyone has a different sense of humor. For that reason, people like Bob Hope, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence, Harvey Korman and Carol Burnett are so special. They all kept audiences laughing for years.

Carol Burnett has kept audiences doubled over with laughter for decades. A clip posted on YouTube of Carol interacting with her invisible husband is yet another example of her comedic genius.

The uproarious clip starts with Carol at home visiting with her aunt. Carol is clearly nervous about spending the evening with her husband and asks her aunt to stay a bit longer. Of course, Carol’s apprehension comes from her husband being invisible.

After Carol’s husband, Harry, arrives home, laughter soon follows. Carol accidentally kicks and steps on her husband, mainly because she cannot see him. Harry also pours himself a drink, and then Harry and Carol enjoy, or at least attempt to dance.

Later in the clip, we learn that Carol and Harry have reproduced. They have a baby who has taken after its father. The child is also lacking a bit in the looks department, mainly because it doesn’t have any looks.

However, right before the clip ends, there is a hysterical twist ending that likely no one saw coming, especially Carol and Harry.

Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”

Tim Conway and Harvey Korman's Hilarious Clash in Airline Security Sketch

Don’t miss Tim Conway and Harvey Korman’s hilarious clash in Airline Security Sketch. Remember the good old days when the Carol Burnett Show was on TV? We sure do, and we couldn’t help but share a memorable moment when Tim and Harvey had fans rolling out of their seats in laughter.

In this side-splitting skit, Harvey Korman portrays a Hollywood film producer on his way to Los Angeles to showcase his latest film to potential moviemakers. Meanwhile, Tim Conway takes on the role of an eccentric airline agent, welcoming passengers to Speedo Airlines with a mix of absurdity and deadpan humor.

Tim says, “Welcome to Speedo Airlines. If you want to get there fast, have a good time, possibly get a nice drink on the way, rent a car at the end of your fight, take your wife for half price or child with a full family plan, if you come back within five days, fly Speedo.” Harvey can’t help but ask if his statement is the company’s slogan which he finds odd.

What starts as a seemingly routine ticketing process quickly descends into chaos as Tim's character, with his trademark wit and impeccable timing, begins to stamp Harvey's ticket multiple times for various nonsensical reasons. From traveling to Las Angeles (a humorous twist on Los Angeles) to whether or not Harvey plans to use the restroom on the flight, Tim leaves no detail unstamped, even going so far as to stamp Harvey's briefcase.

As the sketch unfolds, Harvey's bewildered reactions and Tim's relentless antics escalate the comedic tension, culminating in a sidesplitting crescendo that leaves audiences in stitches. Harvey's incredulous inquiries and Tim's deadpan responses only serve to heighten the hilarity, showcasing the comedic chemistry that made The Carol Burnett Show a beloved classic.

Through their impeccable comedic timing and uproarious improvisation, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman delivered a timeless masterpiece that continues to leave audiences in fits of laughter. The Airline Security Skit stands as a shining example of the comedic brilliance that defined an era and continues to bring joy to viewers of all ages.

Bob Hope Reunites With Twin Brother John Denver In Hilarious Clip

Bob Hope Reunites with his twin brother John Denver is this hilarious clip, and the two stars deliver big laughs and lots of heart!

Bob Hope approaches John Denver, who is already on stage with his guitar and a big smile. Bob’s clothing mirrors John’s. He’s wearing a brown cowboy hat, pants, and western vest; wire-framed glasses, a matching paisley-print shirt; and a longish, blond wig. They’re identical except for the forty years of life that separate them. John was born in 1943; Bob was born in 1903!

The country boy gives Bob a once-over and asks who he is, and Bob introduces himself as Irving Idaho. He’s made a “left at Colorado Springs” to find Denver—as in John Denver, Irving’s twin. The banter continues between the two, and each exchange is good-natured fun.

Irving claims he’s been in the mountains attempting to record the sounds of bighorn sheep butting heads. Unfortunately, it seems like he’s the one who got head-butted. While his goal was to live off the land, he’s been surviving primarily on Excedrin.

Excited to finally connect with his long-lost twin, Irving would love for the two to make music together. However, he knows nothing about music and plays only a snowshoe. So, John offers to accompany him on the guitar as Irving sings a song he wrote.

The song unfolds like this. With interesting prose, verse one tells about Irving’s loneliness now that his horse has died. Upon completing that much, he asks John if he's “following.” John responds, “Yeah. If I could find my way back alone, I’d leave now.” That time, Mr. Denver got the laugh!

Verse two laments the dead nag’s sadness without Irving to clean his heavenly stall. However, number three reveals that the elder twin’s sorrow is really connected to the fact that he missed out on $100 by not selling the old steed to glue makers!

Irving goes on to ask how John writes songs. As an example, John sings an impromptu ditty about how one greets a grizzly. Irving asks how that’s how it works. Does Denver just open up his mouth and let a “hot bear” come out? This is a zinger at John’s expense!

The skit ends with the two singing together “Open Up Your Heart” by Roger Miller.

Both Bob Hope and John Denver touched the hearts of countless people during their lifetimes. Bob Hope made millions laugh with his performances on Broadway and radio, in film and on television, and overseas for military troops. Singer and songwriter John Denver left an incredible body of work, recording and releasing approximately 300 songs. He was also a renowned environmentalist and humanitarian, making many contributions on those fronts as well.

Carol Burnett Clashes With Her Sister-In-Law In Hysterical Sketch

In a hysterically funny sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, Carol Burnett clashed with her sister-in-law.

Family is one of the most important things in life. They are the people who can be counted on to pick you up and lend a hand during painful, heartbreaking situations. They also help you celebrate and cheer you on when you’re on the mountaintop. Where would any of us be without family?

However, as great, wonderful and necessary as a family is, there can still be problems within that tight-knit group. Sometimes, people do not get along. Personalities do not always mix well, leading to hostility and arguments. We do not like it when people we care about deeply don’t get along, but spats and disagreements are a reality of life.

In a hysterical sketch posted on YouTube, Carol’s sister-in-law visits. Carol’s husband, played by Harvey Korman, has suffered a foot injury. The sister-in-law and Carol do not see eye-to-eye on how to care for him, which leads to noticeable tension and hostility between the two.

It sounds like Carol and her sister-in-law were never going to get along. The sister-in-law was troubled and sad at their wedding, and she seems to have a weird attachment to her little brother.

Carol and her sister-in-law are passive-aggressive toward one another. Soon after she arrives, the sister-in-law announces that she brought them a present, which she carelessly flings at Carol. It turns out the present is something she swiped off the plane during her flight to see her little brother.

However, not even Carol’s little sister is safe from the hostility. The sister-in-law makes several snide and rude but hilarious remarks about her, indicating that she believes she will never find a man to marry her.

We all need and benefit from family, but as the clip hilariously shows, it can also cause awkward, uncomfortable and even heated moments.

1 Timothy 5:8 “If anyone has no care for his family and those in his house, he is false to the faith, and is worse than one who has no faith.”

Tim Conway As Oldest Man Is Hilariously Bad At Torture in Hysterical Skit

In another epic sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, Tim Conway plays perhaps the oldest man alive and a terrifically, but hilariously, bad deliverer of torture!

Carol’s comedy crew creates another legendary skit featuring Vicki Lawrence as the unwilling bride-to-be, Harvey Korman as the King with a crush, and Tim as the dimwitted and incompetent “royal torturer.” Clearly, the king needs a better method for vetting his employees. Or, perhaps this one has just lost his touch during his tenure in service to the kingdom. Either way, it is a sad state of affairs!

As the clip begins, King Harvey has already “asked” the captive beauty to marry him. This time, she says that she would rather be attacked by a warthog. Ouch! The king reminds himself that a warthog is a “large piggie,” and that’s clearly not the response he was hoping for.

At this, he calls upon Royal Torturer Tim to expedite matters.

Tim struggles just to make his way through the spider web that covers the ancient wooden door to his quarters; he finds a medieval axe for the job. He moves with glacial speed, shuffling across the torture chamber, and he seems only to hurt himself.

Tim, the Torturer, begins by biting his thumb, but he continues to sear his back and side with a hot poker, slams his head into the wall while trying to catch the mouse meant to terrify the not-particularly-distressed damsel, and strangles himself twice with a medieval mace (a.k.a. spike ball)!

Vicki, pretty in pink, remains steadfast in her determination not to marry the king. With two additional threats, she comments that she’d rather “kiss a chicken on the beak” or “smoke duck feet.” She provides colorful and insulting alternatives!

At last, it appears that King Harvey’s henchman has failed to secure the lady’s agreement to marriage. He concedes that there is no use to try further. Alas, though, his defeat and despair do the trick!

Vicki tells the “silly goose” to take heart—I think she has a fascination with poultry. She’s been playing hard to get!

Meanwhile, Tim has pierced his body in a spiked casket. No matter, though. He’s done his job and is ready for the next victim!

“A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.” Proverbs 12:4

Carol Burnett And Harvey Korman Have Terrible Memories In Hysterical Skit

Comedic legends Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman have absolutely terrible memories in a hysterical skit from The Carol Burnett Show.

The aging process impacts everyone. No matter how hard some may try, they cannot and will not avoid getting older. We get older with every passing day, hour and minute. Time, as the old saying goes, stops for no man. Aging is a simple fact of life.

Aging is such a part of life that we can literally see its effects. Men commonly lose their hair as they get older, and the hair that they manage to keep on their heads often turns gray. A woman’s hair will also turn gray. Metabolism slowing down and wrinkles appearing more regularly are all signs of advancing in age.

However, people commonly say that the memory is the first thing to go when it comes to getting older. Losing one’s memory can be devastating, but Carol and Harvey show that it can also result in some rather funny and laugh-out-loud situations.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol and Harvey play a married couple awaiting friends' arrival at their house – another married couple they haven’t seen in years. But they cannot remember either the man's or the woman’s first and last names for their lives.

Hilarity ensues after their friends arrive, and they both spend every second desperately trying to get their longtime friends to say their names. Whenever a situation presents itself in which the forgotten couple might say their names, they do not, for one reason or another.

Due to some quick thinking from Carol and Harvey, they successfully disguise the fact that they have no idea who exactly they are entertaining at their house.

Aging happens to everyone, and sometimes, as the classic skit from The Carol Burnett Show demonstrates, that can make for some hilarious situations.

Carol Burnett Show Stars Pull Hilarious Pranks On Each Other

The cast of the beloved and iconic The Carol Burnett Show pulled a series of hilarious jokes and pranks on one another, forcing them to try and disguise their laughter during a sketch.

Not taking yourself too seriously is necessary for a successful, sustained comedy career. Actors and comedians often find themselves in some pretty insane situations, especially in sitcoms or sketch comedy shows like Saturday Night Live or The Carol Burnett Show.

Those people must be able to take whatever happens at the moment and roll with it, whether it’s expected or not. But isn’t learning not to take yourself too seriously and being able to laugh at yourself something helpful for everyone? Nobody wants to be around someone who has no sense of humor or cannot take a joke.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman and Vicki Lawrence show they can take a joke. The Carol Burnett program was known for its cast, mainly Harvey, breaking character and bursting into laughter during the middle of a skit.

The 11-minute clip shows some of the best pranks and jokes they pulled on one another. Some of the bits included in the video are of Carol speaking to the audience before the show. As she does her iconic Tarzan call, someone dressed as a gorilla unexpectedly runs up and down the aisles.

At another point in the clip, Carol informs the audience about the prank she will play on Harvey. Things go about as expected, and everyone ends up doubled over in laughter.

Near the clip's conclusion, Carol attempts to lip-sync along. However, one of the show’s crew members has a bit of fun with her. The speed and sound of the recording are manipulated so much that lip-syncing to it is impossible.

Carol Burnett And Jim Nabors Unforgettable Blind Date On The Carol Burnett Show

Legendary comedic actors Carol Burnett and Jim Nabors went on an unforgettable and hilarious blind date on The Carol Burnett Show.

Marriage, and everything that comes with it, is one of the best things in life. Nothing beats spending and enjoying life with the love of your life. However, getting to that point can be frustrating and, sometimes, even maddening.

Dating takes work. It’s essentially a system based on trial and error, spending time with someone as you try to determine if they are a good match. Sometimes, it works; other times, a first date is all the information you need to know that it will not work.

One of the most common forms of dating is a blind date. Usually, it means the two individuals have never met before their date. But Carol Burnett and Jim Nabors, in a hysterical skit, gave a blind date an entirely different meaning.

The skit posted on YouTube begins with Carol sitting on the couch talking to her mother. After a few moments, it becomes clear that Carol’s mother has set them up, hoping for a love connection. But Carol doesn’t have high hopes and doesn’t want someone who wears glasses, which she wears.

Jim rings Carol’s doorbell, and things get off to a wrong but hilarious start. Carol and Jim decide they will not wear their glasses on this date. Those decisions result in hysterical situations.

Even getting in the door becomes a chore without the ability to see. Carol mistakes her date for a coat and slams the door in Jim’s face several times.

Eventually, Jim does get into the apartment. They decide to enjoy a drink and dance, and Jim even tries to light Carol’s cigarette. It all turns into one mishap after another.

However, Jim and Carol develop a connection, and the date ends with one of the most awkward and weird kisses you’ve ever witnessed.

Carol Burnett And Harvey Korman Trade Barbs As Elderly Couple In Hilarious Skit

Two comedic legends, Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman, traded barbs and quick-witted insults as an elderly couple in a hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show.

Comedy is subjective, and because of that, it isn’t easy to do well. What one person believes to be funny likely won’t be the exact same thing that tickles someone else’s funny bone. So, whenever someone can sustain a long and successful career in the comedy world, you know they are supremely talented.

Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman fit that description perfectly. They are two very incredibly talented people. Those two, who were co-stars on the iconic The Carol Burnett Show, still keep laughing with their hysterical performances in zany, off-the-wall skits decades after the show ended its run.

In another uproarious clip of a sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, Harvey and Carol star as a bickering old couple. Their insults to one another make it clear that they have been married for decades and are more than comfortable with one another. They know they aren’t likely to hurt one another’s feelings easily.

Minutes into the sketch, Carol and Harvey get a visitor. Harvey doesn’t exactly roll out the red carpet for his guest. Instead, he lets the visitor know exactly how he feels and thinks about him. On the other hand, Carol doesn’t seem to mind the older man, who looks like he would be at home at a Grateful Dead concert.

Carol and Harvey’s exaggerated antics and ease in delivering their genuinely hilarious insults make this clip absolutely hysterical. This clip shows Harvey and Carol—two legendary comedians—at the top of their game.

Somehow, neither Harvey nor Carol ever cracks a smile throughout the five-and-a-half-minute sketch. For a show in which the actors commonly broke character, this seems like a skit that would have been easy to do, especially when it was always Harvey doing so, particularly when he was put in a sketch with Tim Conway.

Carol Burnett And Harvey Korman Shine In Hysterical Office Sketch

Two comedic legends, Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman, turned in hilarious performances in an office sketch from The Carol Burnett Show.

Offices are locations that many people know very well. Many people frequent them weekly and perhaps even daily. It’s a specifically designed setting for completing professional business activities.

While every office setting will vary in size, shape and the type of work performed there, they are generally the same. Someone going into an office will know what to expect and how to conduct themselves in such an environment.

Or they should know how to conduct themselves.

However, while people understand how to conduct themselves, not everyone will abide by those unspoken rules of professionalism and ethics. Some individuals will stop at nothing to get ahead at the job, even if it means acting inappropriately with one’s direct superior.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol plays a frumpy, middle-aged secretary who her boss, played by Harvey, treats poorly. Carol’s colleague, a woman of a similar age, sees flirting with Harvey as a way to help herself on the job.

Of course, Carol is not a fan of her co-worker and her antics. However, it appears that not even Carol is above flirting, it could help her career. However, Carol’s attempts at doing so don’t go as planned. In fact, her attempts may have even further hurt her standing with her boss.

But eventually, Carol is presented with a unique opportunity to teach her boss and flirtatious co-worker a hard-earned lesson. Carol takes that opportunity, which results in a hilarious and predictable ending for Carol’s boss and co-worker.

Harvey and Carol’s co-worker will almost assuredly discontinue their behavior.

This laugh-out-loud, hysterical clip once again proves that Carol and Harvey are some of the best comedic actors to have ever graced the small screen. The clip provides several laugh-out-loud moments.

Betty White Surprises Johnny Carson With An Elephant

The legendary Betty White surprised Johnny Carson with an elephant during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

Arguably, no actor, musician or athlete is more beloved than the late Betty White. From Hot in Cleveland to The Golden Girls to her many film roles, she kept audiences laughing for decades. Her quick, lightning-fast wit and sweet personality were big reasons why she was beloved by so many.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Betty puts her quick wit, charming and winning personality on full display during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. The clip is extraordinary because it contains two of the funniest people to have ever worked in entertainment: Betty White and Johnny Carson.

The segment begins with Betty sitting down with Johnny for a little conversation. Despite being legends in the entertainment world, Betty and Johnny admit they still got nervous before shows and performances. She added that the longer she was in show business, the worse her nervousness would get.

However, there are creatures that Betty never seems to get nervous or anxious around: animals. She added that she had recently filmed a special with a group of animals. And much to Johnny’s surprise, Betty brought one of her animal co-stars.

Before a commercial break, Betty keeps Johnny in the dark about the animal. She never says what animal she has brought with her.

The rest of the segment is Betty and Johnny interacting with a baby elephant. Amazingly, the elephant knows tricks and responds to Betty’s commands.

Hilariously, the elephant gives Johnny a difficult time. The animal uses its trunk to grab Johnny and throw him around. Johnny, who seemed to get along with anyone and everyone, didn’t seem too pleased with this guest.

Eventually, Johnny gets his fill of the baby elephant and heads back to his desk where it’s safe.
