Proper, crisp and clear communication is vital in every situation, whether at a Fortune 500 company, a family unit, a doctor and a patient or a small group at church.

Failing to understand what is being communicated could result in a wholly disastrous or, as Tim and Carol demonstrate, hilarious outcome. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol is an inept, wasteful and disinterested secretary typing away at her desk.

As Carol is trying but failing miserably to write a letter, she makes a phone call. Her vehicle is in the shop, and she is reaching out to the business. They don’t have a final diagnosis yet, but she informs them to have Dr. Auto call her immediately when they learn what is wrong with her vehicle.

After this call, Tim, Carol’s boss, enters the room. He is entirely aware of her ineptitude, and Tim does not even attempt to hide his contempt for her. He makes hilarious, snide comments about her and her lack of work ethic.

Then, something happens that quickly changes Tim’s view of his employee. Instead of feeling contempt for her, Tim is now in the unenviable position of informing her of what he believes is a devastating medical diagnosis. He thinks she only has days left to live.

As the skit progresses, Carol, much to Tim’s astonishment, seems fully aware that her body is falling apart. Of course, she is referring to her vehicle, but Tim does not realize that.

This hysterical skit shows what can happen when there are misunderstandings.

Tim Conway brought big laughs as the smallest jockey on Johnny Carson’s show. The comedic legend once again tickles the funny bone, causing Johnny and his studio audience to roar with laughter. Check out the short clip of Tim that will have you doubled over with laughter from beginning to end.

In sports and physical activity, height is typically always an advantage. In basketball, taller players are closer to the basket, helping to reduce the difficulty of putting the ball through the hoop. Tim was an absolute comedic genius, making entire audiences crack up with a single look or movement. Even Johnny Carson could not withstand Tim Conway's comedic timing and skills, often bursting into laughter during those iconic Dorf segments.
